AMAZING! I have just started quilting. I have wanted to try this pattern but its way too advanced for me but with you pattern and rulers......I can hear the ooohhhs and ahhhs from my quilting group now. Can't wait to start. Thank You!!!
It would be nice if the insert template also had horizontal lines at the 8" and 6" heights. That way we could be sure of exact placement and not be tipped to one side or the other. Also, my first attempt at making this was negative. My tip points will definitely be lost when making the final unit into a square block. I was extremely careful in cutting, sewing exact seam allowances, and pressing. I am not a new quilter and this should be an easy block for me. I will try again but attempt #1 is not up to my standards.
I bought this book BUT my larger acrylic template is only 1/2 of what is displayed here, with NO MARKED LINES. To say that I am DISAPOINTED is an understatement
Loved it..made one but I went wrong somewhere along the line it looked OK but NOT like yours do !. Intend to try it again hopefully with better results this time
