I am trying to disassemble a Dremel 3000 to replace the shaft lock button. I took off the end cap and 4 screws but it acts like there's more screws as it doesn't want to separate. Can't see any and have completely removed the 4 screws. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
Hello Mark, Is it possible to measure the armature with a multi meter the check it to be sure it's not a bad field unit (can you check that as well with a multi meter?) probably there will be something as ohms resistance difference or so?

Hi Mark. My Dremel is fine. Only the bearings are worn. Can you give me some tips how to replace them? Thank you.

Good stuff! Thanks!
I have a vintage Dremel Model 2. Does anyone know how to take one apart for repairs?
I've dropped my Dremel motor multi-tool it don't come on at all what's broken
The video is very good. My problem is: the motor starts, but when you start routing the motor shuts off. The brushes are fine, maybe the armature.
good work
