- Join me as we travel from Baclaran in Pasay City to Antipolo in Masinag, Rizal!
We'll start our tour at the Baclaran LRT-1 Station, then to Doroteo Jose, then we'll walk for about 650m to transfer to the LRT-2 Recto Station. From there we'll pass by 12 Stations to reach our destination.
-Rate from Baclaran to Doroteo Jose is P19 (Beep Card special rate).
For regular Single Journey ticket, the rate is P20.
-Rate from Recto to Antipolo is P28 (Beep Card special rate).
For regular Single Journey ticket, rate is P30.
-Total fare was only 47 Pesos!

oh wow! been a while since I've been back home - this def an improvement
Kagagaling ko lqng sa isang LRT tour na sobrang maalog camera HAHAHAHA. Saktong sakto labas nito. What a refreshment.
Parang dati lang nagaaral ako sa CEU(2013) bumababa ako sa Santolan Station hanggang Legarda. Lintek na traffic yan lagi akong late dahil sa ginagawang new stations (Marikina and Antipolo). Hanggang nakagraduate ako ng college at nag start ng review center sa Recto. Then nakapasa na ng boards tas nakapagabroad na. Napaka nostalgic ng mga memories na nabigay sakin nyang LRT. Minsan natutulog lang ako sa lapag dahil sobrang pagod at wala ng maupuan. Gusto ko sakyan ang bagong LRT paguwi ko ng Pinas. :) Thank you for this Ride Tour.

Thank you for another nice video. Malaking tulong talaga sa commuters ang trains. Nasa news ngayon meron na naman daw nakuhang loan ang Pinas para sa railways projects. Di ko na naabutan ang LRT/MRT pero mabilis talaga ang byahe nito kesa buses and jeepneys.

The stations and the platforms are more spacious than Bangkok sky train and subway. They are more like airport with its security check in.
The Beep card system is more advance and the rate is very cheap.
Seriously? I've taken both the Manila and Bangkok subways and saying Manila is better is just straight up not true.

Magandang makita ulit ang pag sakay sa LRT and masarap alalahanin yung times na sumasakay pa ako dito. Pero di ko namimiss sumakay dito haha! Tanda ko noon nakatira ako sa may bandang Vito Cruz and nag OJT ako sa may Ortigas. Buti hindi pa ganun kahaba ang pila para makasakay ng MRT at LRT. Pero kahit noon sobrang hassle na at sayang sa oras ang sumakay dito. Yung tipong mapapaisip ka na lang na sana maging maayos buhay mo. Ngayon eto nandito na ako sa Dubai and guminhawa na ang buhay. Nakakatuwang isipin na yung mga minumuni ko noon habang nakasakay sa MRT/LRT ay natupad ko na rin.

Wow tapos na pla ung paAntipolo. Nakikita ko lang yan dati under construction sa minsang magawi ako sa side ng paMarikina at side ng Rizal na yan pag naglong distance runs kami starting from UP. Ang saya, kaya na pala iMRT/LRT paRizal tapos next Bulacan at Cavite. Sana magkafoot bridge na lng na maiconnect ung transfer trains gaya sa EDSA LRT at Taft MRT.
Nakaka miss sa Pinas. kahit sobra lagkit ng init ok lang.

comfort room is only available on selected stations though.. there are toilets that have not fixed as well.. so don't forget to bring arenola inside the metro and give it to the guard as a gift when you arrived to your destination..

Naks ha parang Tate na rin! Kaibahan lang eh, dito sa BART Bay Area SF, rows of seats (two-persons ) per seat at malapit sa door ang seats for disabled/seniors exclusive. Mabuti pa nga dyan saten meron pang inspection sa mga dalahin…meron pa kayong mga siQ sa entrance. Dito sa amin WALANG inspection pero naknakan ng camera naman at info kiosk. Other than this, pareho na rin…mag ingat, TY.

Transferring from LRT1 to LRT2 can be quite a long walk, especially for the elders and PWU. I understand that it can be challenging for them.

Yhr the Lrt1 is the oldest elevated train system in South East Asia that built in 1980s that's why it's small type train. Manila City has lesser population back then. That's why SMC is good to choose the train for MRT 7 as mass train type like that Lrt2 because Quezon city population is booming

Dapat punduhan nga goberno ang pag sasaayos ng mga train station gawing modern tulad sa ibang bansa maganda yong station nila modern design .dito kasi sa pinas marami namang magagaling na engineer at archetic pero ang papangit ng design ng mga pinagawang structures tulad ng mga poste ng skyway ,tulay , train station etc. Yong sa cebu lng maganada tsaka yong gawa ng mga chines na tulay sa benondo.

It seems after Santolan station, the automated announcements stopped....Hopefully they'll update it soon on all the LRT-2 rolling stock
That issue of automated announcements is on LRTA side, only TS 09 and TS 17 now have announcements with Marikina at Antipolo stations, but it was reportedly used Google Translate ones, not those from the original
