adamrtt there first album needs a very specific taste in music to appreciate it (which i dont have) thats why i always say second and the third are the best and then fourth is when it went down hill
Haha, Sex on Fire was the first song I heard by them on the radio back in 2009 as a seventh grader and I absolutely detested Use Somebody cause everyone was posting it on their Facebook account (the year it became popular in my country). I liked Sex On Fire a lot so I immediately downloaded a few other, random songs by them like Molly Chambers, which I actually liked a lot, but it hasn't been until 2013 when I heard 'Fans', 'King of The Rodeo' and 'Charmer' that I sort of got into them. In 2014 I started to get really into their music, and by the summer of 2015 I've watched the documentary, listened to all of their b-sides and in 2016 read their biography called "Holy Rock 'N' Rollers: The Story of Kings of Leon", which I highly recommend if your passion for the band is as strong as mine was as a 21 year old. I have never enjoyed discovering band's discography more than I did with Kings of Leon. If I could go and listen to Youth and Young Manhood for the first time again, I will! That album made me get over my ex in no time lol
..all id ever heard from them is 'sex on fire' and the other one they play all the time, but im glad i decided to see what else they were about . this is great. they kick ass...thank god real rock bands still do exist.
I must chime in here. The liner notes of the record does say and I quote, "Don't leave no smell on me. I'll blow off in your sleep..." Can't say I know what the fuck he means but it does seem to be an accurate quote...
Because of this song I lost my driving license for 4 weeks.
So, always keep an eye on the speedometer when you hear the song loud while driving.
when the Kings were at the top of their game.
Agreed. Everyone bangs on about the first two albums being the good ones but number three was a work of art for me.

nathan's the only one who looks the same
nathan has one style and one style only. Bubblegum blowing emotionless robot. that shits getting old.
Christopher Turvey He's a great drummer. What are you?
What do you mean by style? Appearance? I guess I never really noticed because that doesn't matter.
This isn’t true
Caleb looks like Joe Crocker in this video.
She saw his combover at 3:43
I must chime in here. The liner notes of the record does say and I quote, "Don't leave no smell on me. I'll blow off in your sleep..." Can't say I know what the fuck he means but it does seem to be an accurate quote...
