I used to attach the garter to the backer but I started leaving a whole circle for the ribbon area and started attaching the garter to the ribbon circle. And then the backer is separate then the soft part that touches the skin separately as well. So I use 2 circles

Thank you so much for this great tutorial!! Please help!! I made my first garter and I am afraid it is so big it will not stay on the young man’s arm. Is there a trick to help with this? I’ve seen some HUGE garters online. How do they keep them on their arm??
The garter may stretch a little bit. Just include a safety pin where they can adjust it and you should be fine. They can also safety pin it to the shirt that they are wearing and it won’t go anywhere.
Hi! Just found your channel and I’m loving it. Perfect timing too as my daughter and I are making a garter this weekend. Any tips for how long the ribbons should be for a garter?
My small garters are 12 inches and I go up to 18 or 24 inches. Depends on the age and the size of the boy wearing it.

There are so many different materials in the ass. It’s difficult to list.
Awesome job! Should we add extra flower according to HS grade? 2 for sophomores, 3 for juniors?
I don’t automatically do that. I do it if they requested but only then.
You can definitely go up on the size of flower if you’re worried about sizing. And add length as well.

Hello Mrs Connie could you please tell what the name of the tool is that some crafters use on that deco mesh it keeps it from getting jankie and ugly. I know it gets hot that's it. Thank you so much for any kind of help.
Maybe a hot knife
I cut my mesh with a wood burner and a piece of Tempered glass period some people use cookie sheets to use the wood burner as their base

I want to take something out of my chest, so this lady waisted a lot of my time asking me for prices and sizes and she wanted this and that, so she decided that she wanted a heart shape top and all the way to the ankle mum I told her $285 and she made me feel like I’m crazy! What do you think Mrs Connie is that really crazy expensive that mum she wanted was from last year and was really pretty and full 😢
It’s a triple mum. And a lot of product. You are not crazy. I would rather lose that sale, than come down on the price. You don’t need to be working for free. Tell them to go to Hobby lobby and buy all the crap they want on there for one thing they won’t get it because we do custom, right? And for another that’s gonna cost them twice as much and it’s gonna look horrible.
