Hellen Bennett and Letiara Pellie - Witness risk assessment, first meeting & special measures

From 4-6 March 2024 the PILON Sexual and Gender Based Violence Working Group held an Implementation Workshop in Nadi, Fiji, for the Regional Guidelines for Prosecutors and Witness Support Officers to support Vulnerable Witnesses through the Prosecution of Sexual and Gender Based Violence Offences.
Hellen Bennett is a Senior Witness Liaison Officer at the Solomon Islands Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Solomon Islands. Letiara Pellie is the Principal Legal Officer, also at the Solomon Islands Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
During their training session, the presenters teach participants how to complete the witness vulnerability risk assessment and identify relevant service providers available to support witnesses.
