- The Battle Of The Year has come a long way. Who would have thought that BOTY would go from starting out in 1990 in a local youth culture centre with 500 hard-core fans to an arena packed with more than 12,000 roaring spectators and b-boy crews from all over the world?
BOTY has grown massively - and we have slowly realised our vision of developing the spirit of breakdance and creating an international event platform that allows B-Boys and B-Girls from all different countries to express their creativity in front of an ever-growing audience.
BOTY 2015 was huge - and our aim is to keep it growing, evolving and pushing it to become the best Battle Of The Year we can possibly achieve, to once again prove that the event has earned its position as a pinnacle of the breaking and b-boying scene. Let’s celebrate a quarter-century of BOTY history together! Keep on rockin’ the next 25 years!

Body Carnival got robbed big time. Hong should have not been judging he obviously gonna vote for taisuke's crew because he's friend with him. I respect bgirl AT but bboying is not all about foundation and footwork, there other aspects to look at such as style, power, and orignality.. Body carnival were better all rounded
i agree with you on AT. Shes a really dope bgirl, but from my point of view not a very good judge, she cant value originality and power and value only foundations, footwork, and just an old school bboying

Bosy carnival won are hearts. Shortest battle i watched. They need to take it back to the old school rules and bring new judges. Longer battles need to be for the semi and finals.

BOTY judging seems off for almost a decade now. The results here made zero sense.
idk guys i watched this battle like 20 times now and i can see how Floorriorz got it. I thought Body Carnival git it originally but i looked like after a while FLZ came harder at the end while BC didn't. Still a great and super close battle.
I agree that Floorriorz was better at the end. However, they were outclassed the rest of the battle, the first round and the third one specially.

Omg, that wasn't even a close call. Floorriorz simply got outbreaked. There was not a single aspect in which they could've lost, including the old school foundations

Knowing who won before watching is always weird. I was hoping Flooriorz were awful and the battle judged badly, but this was closer than that. I can see why Body Carnival would have won, and I would have voted for them for their greater risk and originality, but Flooriorz brought enough beat-heat in a battle filled with big and small mistakes on both sides that I can see why they won.
I repeat: I disagree with it, especially since Flooriorz showcase was so bad, but I can unfortunately see why they got the win...

Flooriorz were the champions from boty last year, and Body carnival won the boty japan qualifier. Body carnival got robbed though.
