Can confirm it passes the freeze test took it out in the worst snow storm of the year, from canada with a temperature of -22°C for over 5 hour's and only thing affected was the speaker that fixed itself after 10 minutes defrosting inside :)
Only issue: if dropped on a corner just right… whole screen can be damaged by impact of the plastic bending into the screen at the corners edge. Happened to me. 😢

Even when I was about to buy it Online from Samsung it says that 5g networks with Tmobile may not be able to work. Will there be someone from PR or EU or with knowledge that can guide me?

Underwater freeze test seems a little contradictory. Why not just put it in the freezer so it can get colder that 1 degree c or let it actually freeze solid? I was hoping to see if it would shut down at -15 or -20c as my current samsung does but my iPhone doesn’t. Used to be the other way around. Still a very good review but was hoping for more freezing with the 2 hr freeze advertised

Really it has a very weak display. It just broke in one drop yesterday and it has been just a month when I had spent my hard earned 35k on this crap. It's really waste of money. Samsung should be avoided. Earlier I had Galaxy J7 on which I spent much more money on getting new displays every time than the actual cost of the phone. I thought that in A53 they have used Gorrila Glass 5 so it would be safe purchase. But I was wrong.
@@DennisCNLew yes it had a good quality tempered glass and silicon back cover. I did not take the samsung insurance as it was costing me around 4k for one year and for one time display replacement which I thought was too expensive.
That'z unfortunate, also glass has no chance on Rough surfaces like roadz. Insurance is cheaper on Amazon and flipkart but right now, A53 is NA on Amazon and Insurance option not there on flip.
But in my case, i have droped this phone many times have the phone from past 2 year not problem at all and with case and screen guard and i am even thinking of using it without case and screen guard Edit:- i have droped it in water once no problem
