What exists NE of the base, a void?

The first place, Springfield, is most definitely a void.

Are UFOs reported a lot around Dayton? Seems to be one of the most top secret public bases.

Dayton is a pit, and working at the base nearly ruined my career. It was the most miserable 4 1/2 years of my adult life. I would never recommend working or living here particularly if you were never in the military and didn’t start you career in DOD. I also do not recommend working anywhere in DOD. Actually, I found the people that worked at the base rather strange. It was like being in a cult.
This place nearly ruined my life. People have a right to know what they are getting themselves into. They were the most provincial group of people I’ve ever worked with. I was fortunate to leave this place and not only find a job where I was productive but also one that paid better. I will never use this place for a reference.

This sucks to hear. We’re you military or civil service?

Right on! I was Military in the middle to late 70"s and it's what (NO ONE) has wrote here. I was treated like trash from the civil service folks which at the time number over 25K and about 4K military.
