  • Whole wheat biscuits or cookies is quite simple to prepare and is loaded with fiber, iron (from jaggery) and nutrients (from whole wheat flour).You can relish these biscuits without any guilt any time of the day. They are so good to eat and yet it is so easy to make. This biscuit has no sugar, no maida, no butter , so these biscuits can be given even to babies. These healthy cookies are a great accompaniment with hot tea or coffee. I have shared both oven and tips on how to bake on stove top also. Do try it and leave your feedback.

      Accepted. I never said it is not sugar. Better option than white sugar.

    Can we use baking soda instead of baking powder

    Why why jaggery is also a sugar.. doctor told jaggery has 0.1 % iron extra thats it. It is same as sugar in terms of calories.. to make it sugary..using vanilla, should be okay very little just for sweetness... For adults jaggery okay, for kids these biscuits fill them up with no nutrient calories and they refuse to eat regular food..take care..dont give more than 1/2 biscuit per day

      No doubt jaggery is also a form of sugar but less refined. Anything should be had in moderation.

    Jaggery is form of sugar how can b given to babies !?

    • @Padhus-kitchen
      @Padhus-kitchen  ปีที่แล้ว

      Babies means not infants but toddlers is what I meant. I agree that jaggery is a form of sugar but it is a better option than sugar is what I tried to mean. Because now-a-days kids are eating so much chocolates etc. These kinds of homemade biscuits are a better option as it does not have any preservatives, colors etc.

    Yes, lovely, but still, those types of oil are still not healthy, nor is the baking powder or soda.

      Better option than white sugar. Except sugar from fruits, all sugars are bad and should be consumed in moderation.
