    Hello, thanks for the clear audio video. Can you do a video explaining how commercial VPNs buy transit from providers like m247 and datapacket etc and how the virtual private server industry which is a multi billion dollar business, how it all works where customers like myself can, for 5$ a month, get access to enterprise grade servers from a hundred countries 🤯

    so basically here you are adding a "static route" to the destination where you want to fly. Is that how it works on v7. nice video . Thanks

    Hi, I get my iBGP sessions working and established. My route table shows the correct routes (DAb) and correct gateways, but when using this my traceroutes/ traffic does not work. Any idea why?

    In Rosv7, should a reflector to reflector connection contain the ClusterID attribute? What about reflector to client? Same idea, set ClusterID attribute?

      It will pick up automatically from the a reflector but a good idea in case you have multiple reflectors that you set it

    routing bgp network set synchronize= , where is that in v7?

    • @MankomalSingh
      @MankomalSingh  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In routerOS V7 only the routes that exist in RIB will be advertised so by default this is on and you cannot switch it off

      @@MankomalSingh so you can't force it , ok i see

      @@nikolashuminosky6987 essentially you cannot switch it off so for example if you want to advertise 192.168.1.0/24 then this prefix should be there in routing table and valid. In case not then it will not be advertised. You can still add the prefix as a blackhole route.

    Hi, can you explain to me why a route learned via ibgp peer is not being announced to my ebgp peer, but if I create the route as blackhole (just for testing) it is announced normally? I'm using routeros 7.4

      Hello Giorgio, so in case you have watched the whole video you will understand that the iBGP behaves a bit differently and to do this you actually need to do a next-hop route manipulation. Now in ROS7.x AFAIK this is not possible but you can still do this by using route filters as I have explained in the video.

    How to setup an online payment gateway on a mikrotek menta box .....
    Same as PM wani , but for personal hotspot service

    • @MankomalSingh
      @MankomalSingh  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, for this you will need to setup an external hotspot login and payment page. Mikrotik supports this feature but solution you will have to make on your own.
