Sorry for taking so much time to tell you the areas that I had mentioned about.
Just to refresh your mind my family used to stay in Lohore, had to move during partition.
My maternal side used to live in Khui veda, Said Meetha bazaar, Lohari mandi. My mama recalls that there were a few steps going up where there was a landing or veda with a water well or kuan. From there a street with Malhotra families living in the street. Just behind the khan. My great grandmother's name was Bal Kaur. My grandfather's name was lala Ganesh Das.
