Regarding the When It Rains video, you've just watched the wrong one..the audio is really not clear and didn't give justice to their amazing voice. It's just that the video he reacted to is really not good,the audio is bad with the sound blasting thru the speakers blocking out their voices. If you'd kindly check the link I've given, you'll see the difference of the audio quality between the 2 vids. someday is about hoping to meet someone again someday, waiting for someone, and they're emotional because it was eunkwang's last concert with them before he went to the military
I really hope that "this is us" concert won't be the last ot7 concert. That someday performance made me emotional and also when you praise Ilhoon's looks coz I'm Ilhoon stan,🤧🤧 thank you so much for appreciating our boys
It'll be hard for them to be complete again because we know some knetz are really scary :< but still hoping coz I haven't witnessed ot7 since I started to stan them🥲💔

Well, it's possible since Ilhoon isn't part of the group anymore :(( which really hurts since I've been with them since 2012 and have never seen them live yet :(
Ot7 concert might be a little too farfetched, but come on. no one says we couldn't have ot7 x ilhoon collab concert
I really recommend for you to watch that concert because that was their last concert before the members started going into the military.
I also do agree, that specific when it rains stage is not their neatest live performance, maybe one reason is that it was their 3rd day of the concert already and that part was at the second half of the concert so maybe they are not in their best vocal condition anymore. Thank you for an honest reaction. btob has a lot more live performances that showcase their vocals better.
As I remember when I watch it online during 2018. It's their last concert as a complete group last August 2018 before Eunkwang enlist that is why they were so emotional.

Thank you for your honest reaction. They were so emotional on Someday because it's Eunkwang's last concert before going to the military and the song means meeting someone someday for a long time.
I was waiting for the bonus clip where Eunkwang sneezed during when it rains. Its so funny.

Yeah I will agree that the When It Rains performance is a bit pitchy, but you should check out the MV for it. I love your reactions to BTOB, you don't sugar coat anything and give your honest opinion which is something that not everyone does cause they're afraid of offending people. Love that you're becoming a Melody and can't wait for you to experience more of their music. Changsub's voice is my favorite in Kpop as well, along with his stage presence, and his hilarious personality.

@@Koko3op yeah, honest opinions really matter.. Maybe during that When it Rains song, their voice were already tired but still not bad for a live performance 😊 Please also check for the BTOB Blue's covered song in the different variety shows
@@Koko3op THIS IS US concert is 3 nights concert & fanmeet. The boys are tired already. Melodies understand that they are just human. And , moreover than that, it is a proof that they are singing really in their raw live vocals on their live performaces

Yes, they are REALLY SPECIAL. BTOB has their own standard in music , a very UNIQUE one.
They had hard time singing Someday, that concert was their last concert before Eunkwang enlisted in the army. EK's enlistment was so sudden and everything back then was so uncertian. Everyone in the group and even Melody was affraid. I still recall how I felt back then.
U said so much emotions when they singing 'someday'. Cuz it was eunkwang's last concert before he get in army. After this concert, they had to delay their full-member concert almost 5 to 7 years and it(the army thing) was set too quick- tempered like everyone couldn't expect the timing.

all the 2018 concert videos was taken at their 3rd day of 2018 concert, they sang about 30 songs a day, almost all of them got high notes and eunkwang have musical schedule a couple days after which is fcking insane

You are getting me in all of my feelings with these BTOB reactions! Changsub's vocals are also my favorite! I listen to the songs from him performing in Edgar Allan Poe and his solo album constantly. But everyone's vocals in BTOB make me cry tears. They are so talented and beautiful.

for the someday and when it rains stages, you watched their performance from the last day of their 3-day This Is Us concert. everyone was tired and super emotional as it was the last concert with complete members. it was few days before eunkwang enlist to military.

Yes...watch the whole concert! It was the last one before Eunkwang went into the military...which is why they were so emotional! It is an amazing concert!
During Someday and When it rains they were very emotional as it was their last concert as 7 members, which is why their vocals are a bit shaky and unstable. Like you said it's not the neatest, but they were pretty emotional that night and bawled their eyes out so it's understandable.

it is through this music (Beautiful pain) and because of Hyunsik's voice that I discovered BTOB and I became a melody.
OMG I went to that concert lol😂 That's the last day of the three days of the concert. It is my first time to watch the video of the concert I went to, but the sound is so different from listening to it directly. Listening to their harmonies in person at concerts is different from simply listening to them in audio
That SOMEDAY performance was really emotional for all of them coz that was the last concert they had before some of them would do their mandatory military service. They're really not used to being separated from each other that long and they know they'd miss doing performances and being with their fans (MELODY)so they got emotional singing that song. Coz it's like saying that they hope they'd see each other again and share good memories again..someday.

@@Koko3op this SOMEDAY(this is us version) makes me inlove with CHANGSUB. I am a babymelo at that time this concert and this vid was first shown in YT. I newly discovered BTOB at thst time and stil not familiar with their faces & theirnames . All i know is Changsub reminds me of SHANE of WEST LIFE with his perfect falsetto. Thats it , im so in love with his voice. Tho i was first attracted to HYUNSIK voice in their 'Under the Sky' in Immorta Song( my very first vid of BTOB)

this is us concert is the most emotional concert of BTOB.. They are in their prime but Eunkwang have to enlist in the military that is why the song SOMEDAY really hit so different during this time.. this is the last day of the 3 day concert and few days after this Eunkwang has to enlist.... they are so emotional during this time...(usually Boy groups after they enlist decreases their influence and BTOB just got their Aim that time)...
Lol I love the Undercover intro in your video. I don't know if I'm describing it the right way but I find that Eunkwang and Changsub have incredible vocal agility which allows them to switch emotions so effortlessly. It's no wonder that they are musical actors 😄
When It Rains is a subunit number - they guys were wearing their costumes from the MV. I agree that this concert version wasn't their best vocally but I always prefer these kind of songs to be performed on a smaller stage. Do check out the official MV at your own time.

i know, when it rains is a difficult song to sing live, and that being a concert, they had many performances before and after and the stadium is huge, i also felt that the vocals are not forefront(exactly the way you said, i didn't know how to put it).
those insane stage tho. their concert venue used to be that small 😭 bbt then look at someday stage. gosh you've come so far BTOB proud of you

But that time, BTOB had three days straight live concert and they're exhausted and tired after performing dance tracks so its not much better, the same concert with your Someday reaction. However if i remember it right they had a better live version for When it Rains but Eunkwang wasn't there bc he's already in the army, its from their one day Jakarta concert i think. Btw they had another live performance for Someday: th-cam.com/video/SARN12WF4O0/w-d-xo.html this is from Arirang. I think this one is better because it has no noice disturbance.

So, I am quite tine deaf. Can you please point out moments in live videos where their pitches are off (in upcoming videos ) etc.? Anyway, I loved this reaction and agree with your take on 'when it rains' at points it felt chaotic and I also struggled to pick out their vocals. I thought the issue was the band but its interesting to note that it might be the way they are singing.

It wasn’t pitchy if you watch it with good quality but the audio from the channel you watched it from was like that in every performance on the tour the quality is so bad i watched this one first and i didn’t like it much but when I watched the same video but with a clear audio i was so shocked bcs how is this the same performance😭😭😭

The other vid, When It Rains..they're wearing uniforms of a waiter, chef, barista and mayb manager of a cafe or coffee shop. Bcoz they were dressed like that in the official music video which was done in a cafe.😊 And i think the video you've reacted to didn't give you a clear audio of their vocals. As an veteran melody i'm agree with u 'when it rains' performance not superb enough from BTOB. in my opinion it's because that song difficult to sing and they perform that song after dance n sing for hours so they couldn't perform well.
