Dami signing? You need to hear "Shadow", a duet between Dami and Siyeon for a OST. There are 2 versions, a normal one and slow one, which both have different vibes and line distribution. For fun, watch the MV (especially the slow version) and then see a colour coded lyric video to see if you have correctly identified who signing which line; sound easy right....or is it. Also, Siyeon and Sua also have other official solo OST songs as well.
5:58 the choreo that the girls do here is actually sign language! so that's why it has a bit more of a "stiffer" and wider feel to it, not because of the over the sky theme (tho it is very fitting) but becuase it's just a very nice way to connect to hoh fans

Otherwise, sad to say, JiU had it right at the beginning of 'Reason'; without us, DC would not exist now. This group and their company is full of AWESOME and AMAZING people. There are other groups who have people like that but their fans were not as loyal (or their companies were real shitters) so they are no longer around. DC is still going strong, they beat the 7-Year-Curse! It's because of fan loyalty, and the fan base has grown exponentially. Over the Sky is their second fansong (the first one being Full Moon and the third one being Reason), so yeah, definitely a good song to listen after the concert 😊 All the japanese tracks are among my favorites, I listen to a lot of metal so I feel at home with them the most. They're such a bangers
"Don't Light My Fire" is my favorite DC song (I think. "Demian" is killing me. It's wearing me down)! I actually hadn't heard "My Way" before! Incredible instrumental in that one. I feel their Japanese Discography tends to get forgotten these days but as a lifelong metalhead, I was living for it all. Endless Night, My Way and Don't Light My Fire are near the top of my favorite DC songs of all time.

It's definitely not a competition, but I feel like some of the most positive experiences I've had in k-pop have been with this fandom. Everyone's focus is on one thing only, the group. The success of the girls and the badass music they make is the top priority. My favorite thing is how InSomnia make sure the girls know they are truly loved through very tangible means so we get to see how grateful they are. I feel like InSomnia is only passing on the passion and love we receive from the group. It's so difficult to explain how it feels to those not familiar with DC. And, you know, they have a wealth of cover songs that are fun and amazing and will let you see different sides of the members personalities and talents. No pressure, of course--a lot of reactors stick to music released by the group. But if you get itch for more DC, they're well worth checking out beyond the two (or three?) you've already reacted to.
My favorite Japanese title is Endless Night. Breaking Out and Eclipse are 2 and 3. When it comes to b-sides, My Way and Don’t Light My Fire are my favorites. Endless Night was Scream Era (purple hair jiu is a Scream Era giveaway). No More was BOCA era I believe. Eclipse and Don’t light my Fire were Odd Eye era. When it comes to anime I am firmly 90’s, 80’s re runs and some 2000’s. Thundercats, Voltron, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball/Z, various Gundam series- Mobile Suit Gundam, Z (zeta), ZZ (double zeta), 0083: Starduat Memory, 8th MS Team, Wing, G Fighter, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Ronin Warriors, Rurouni Kenshin, Ghost in the Shell SAC 1 and 2, InyuYasha, Bleach, Broken Blade, Ninja Scrolls, Evangelion, Orphen, Seven Deadly Sins, Neo Angelique Abyss, Hitman Reborn, Castelvania, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Burst Angel, Noir, Madlax, Maria Sama Ga Miteru, Strawberry Panic. I would watch that Kings Raid anime if I knew wheee to find it because that seems to fall right in my realm of anime. Yay Metalcatcher! Have a lot of fun at the concert! ♥ Me before watching: "I wonder how often LC will mention anime." 😂 Anime is a vast field and since you haven't watched anything yet I'd probably recommend a movie as the time investment is not as daunting. "Your Name (Kimi no na wa)" is a fantastic movie and one of my favourite movies (not just anime). I'd recommend to not look anything up beforehand to not get spoiled, and I'd argue that it would be even worth doing a reaction video for if you want.
Their Japanese album is one of my favourite DC album.. Don't light My Fire is a really good intro song to DC for Nghtwish fans lol!! No More and DLMF are two of my favourites for the album
The drums in endless night are done by the drummer of the Japanese metal band coldrain. If your friend likes metal, you should suggest him to listen to coldrain. They are awesome ^^

As for finishing their discography, there’s always other content you could get into if you want to make more Dreamcatcher videos! Variety and interview content, cover songs, relay dances and live stages, etc. They keep us well fed, and I promise people would be just as enthusiastic about your reactions to it :)
Funny you mentioned discovering BebyMetal via Dreamcatcher, my path was reversed, I was full into J-Rock then someone talked about Endless Night by DC and it opened the door of K-Pop (DC, Mamamoo mostly)

Anytime someone who wants to get into the medium but don't know where to start, I always recommend movies so you get a more diverse experience in a short amount of time. However, if you want a tv series you can't go wrong with popular picks like Attack on Titan (political action thriller), One Punch Man (Action Comedy/Satire on superheroes), Death Note (Mystery Thriller about a murderer evading capture), Demon Slayer (Action Adventure with incredible animation). Studio Ghibli films: Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, etc Classics that have transcended the anime community into main stream audiences. Great set of movies, with themes that will resonate with you after the movie is over. They remind you of the old classic Disney movies. Satoshi Kon movies: Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers A legendary set of psychological thriller movies made by a legendary animator that passed away way too young. His movies are though provoking, the closest thing I can relate them to is The Prestige or Inception. His movies are so influential, hollywood directors like Guillermo del Toro and Christopher Nolan mourned his death. Akira and Ghost in the Shell movies (There's a tv series of this as well). Both iconic movies that have influenced major hollywood films like the Matrix and Bladerunner. If you're into science ficiton/cyberpunk genre, check these out. They are amazing A Silence Voice, Your Name, Wolf Children If you feel like watching Romantic Dramas, look no closer than these 3. A Silence Voice deals with a deaf student and her bully who falls in love with her. Your Name is about a love between 2 people from different time periods. Wolf Children is about a mother who is raising two half human half werewolf children.

They are really going into Babymetal territory with Endless Night (and No More). The lyrics speak about their struggles as Minx and how happy they are to be Dreamcatcher now! Especially when it was clear that Minx had failed, they were in a dark place, hoping for "one more chance", which their company provided, much to all our luck. It is a rare thing in K-Pop that a failed group gets another chance, but their CEO is like an uncle to them. He even said in an interview that the failure of Minx was on the company, not the girls. And that if Dreamcatcher failed as well, he would become a cucumber farmer to support the girls. That is unheard of in K-Pop.

I’ve definitely got you for anime recs! What genres do you like?? Their Japanese tracks are all SO good, and I think it’s funny sometimes when people think their title tracks sound like anime, cuz the REAL anime-like sound is in their b-sides: Wake Up, New Days, and Scar are great ones aside from the Japanese tracks. Also, love knowing that you’re a Nightwish fan! I grew up on Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Evanescence, aside from being a huge anime fan. The metal and J-rock influence is definitely how my friend first pitched Dreamcatcher to me!
For anime, I recommend (in no particular order) 1. Death Note 2. Asobi Asobase 3. Demon Slayer ( I know people might call it overrated and all but it is VERY good lmao) 4. The Promised Neverland (better to pick up the manga after Season 1 bc season 2 did NOT stick to the original storyline and the last episode was a freakin slideshow 😭 but the manga is SOOO worth it trust me!) 5. Gakkou Gurashi (go into this one blindly please lol)

Fucking love "Don't Light My Fire" tbh. And the whole "accessible pessimism" thing is a mood. I do, however, have anime recommendations if you happen to still be reading this. Some of these are probably a bit dated because I was mostly into anime when I was a little younger. I don't think you need to watch all of these lmao I'm just suggesting several that I have enjoyed across a several genres so that maybe there's something among these you'll be interested in. The summaries are entirely based on my memory. Some "starter pack" anime that many people recommend: _Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood_ (fantasy, political drama, family drama, action) (a story about two brothers skilled in the art of alchemy, which functions like magic in this world, as they seek a way to redeem themselves from past mistakes and end up embroiled in a civil war being puppeted by dark forces) _Ouran High School Host Club_ (slice of life, comedy, romance) (a story about a young girl accepted into a prestigious academy on a scholarship who becomes involved with the school's "host club" [think maid cafe but the servers are men, kind of] and the eccentric personalities that form it) _Death Note_ (drama, horror, psychological, tragedy) (a story about a troubled young man who one day obtains a notebook, which if written in, will kill anyone whose name is written in the manner specified; a story about injustice and the corruption of absolute power) Other anime that I like a lot: _Natsume's Book of Friends_ (vignette, supernatural, slice of life, mystery) (a story about a young man trying to understand his ability to interact with _youkai,_ Japanese spirits/faeries/demons, and unravel the mystery of his grandmother's Book of Friends; often bittersweet and introspective but I find this one calming...and the stories are vignette style, so you can pick it up and put it down easily) _Spy x Family_ (comedy, WW2 (kind of), intrigue, family drama) (a story about a spy, an assassin, and a telepathic child who become a family out of convenience and learn to love each other along the way; this is primarily a comedy with some dark themes in the backdrop; currently popular in Japan) _Demon Slayer_ (adventure, action, fantasy, historical) (a story set in an alternate Taisho-era Japan in which a young boy seeks the power to both fight and understand demons, in order to save his sister when a tragic accident causes her to become one, by joining a secret society of demon slayers; currently popular in Japan) _Cardcaptor Sakura_ (the original one lol) (fantasy, comedy, magical girl, romance) (a story about a young girl named Sakura who becomes the guardian of a deck of magical cards who have all escaped and must be tracked down; the story follows Sakura and her family and friends in a series of sweet, relatable vignettes loosely connected by the idea of understanding and finding the magic cards; has queer themes) And last, if you find yourself really liking the more adventure/fantasy anime and want to tackle something longer to watch over a long span of time, I am obligated to recommend _Fairy Tail._ It's not the most popular anime of its type (adventure, fantasy, friendship, action), but it's my personal favorite. It follows the story of a young woman who joins a famous guild of mages and becomes swept up in the (mis)adventures of its extremely quirky members as she becomes part of their family and their many quests to save the world from evil.

So I want to recommend you some short-semi light hearted anime to start. (1) Erased (2) Kimi ni Todoke (3) My Love Story (ore monogatari) (4) Nana. Those are all good to kind of start, there are tons of generes to choose from, but I can see you maybe liking these. Some movies as well (1) Wolf children (2) Ponyo (3) Grave of the Fireflies (kinda super sad). I hope you check some out. Have a great trip. 🩵
Have you considered reacting to their reality show "Dreamcatcher Mind"? They are 10 fairly short episodes, but very entertaining. They posted them of their TH-cam channel, so they should be safe to react to.
My first concert was Nightwish for the Century Child album release, my cats are named Century and Tarja … I think my love of Nightwish and Epica is why I out of all the K-pop groups I stan, Dreamcatcher is number 1.

Love your reaction as always! DC's Japanese tracks definitely hit different. DLMF is my fave. As far as anime recs, I would recommend Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia. These are newer anime and currently still going on. If you want older anime, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha are great as well.
Being a fan of DC, and then being introduced to Babymetal, the next natural step is to check out Band Maid. They’re a J-Rock band I really think you might like a lot 🥲 my ultimate dream is one day all three groups touring together, it’d be incredible 😍

It has been a great journey, but there is a lot of non-music content still out there that you can react to as well. As for anime recommendations I would suggest Cowboy Bebop, older anime (4:3 format), but a classic with great music.
Anime isn't a genre, it's a medium for every genre, so you may need to provide people your interests. It's like saying, I've never seen TV before, recommend me TV Shows.
For the anime recommendation, my favorite is Code Geass, great story with a lot of philosophy and politics, and the best final ever in any series (and mecha fights because well, it's still an anime xD)

Thank you for all the reactions. It's been fun. And, you know, they have a wealth of cover songs that are fun and amazing and will let you see different sides of the members personalities and talents. No pressure, of course--a lot of reactors stick to music released by the group. But if you get itch for more DC, they're well worth checking out beyond the two (or three?) you've already reacted to.
My favorite Japanese title is Endless Night. Breaking Out and Eclipse are 2 and 3. When it comes to b-sides, My Way and Don’t Light My Fire are my favorites.
Endless Night was Scream Era (purple hair jiu is a Scream Era giveaway). No More was BOCA era I believe. Eclipse and Don’t light my Fire were Odd Eye era.

Anime is a vast field and since you haven't watched anything yet I'd probably recommend a movie as the time investment is not as daunting.
"Your Name (Kimi no na wa)" is a fantastic movie and one of my favourite movies (not just anime). I'd recommend to not look anything up beforehand to not get spoiled, and I'd argue that it would be even worth doing a reaction video for if you want.

The drums in endless night are done by the drummer of the Japanese metal band coldrain.
If your friend likes metal, you should suggest him to listen to coldrain. They are awesome ^^

As for finishing their discography, there’s always other content you could get into if you want to make more Dreamcatcher videos! Variety and interview content, cover songs, relay dances and live stages, etc. They keep us well fed, and I promise people would be just as enthusiastic about your reactions to it :)
Funny you mentioned discovering BebyMetal via Dreamcatcher, my path was reversed, I was full into J-Rock then someone talked about Endless Night by DC and it opened the door of K-Pop (DC, Mamamoo mostly)

Been an anime fan for 20 years. Anytime someone who wants to get into the medium but don't know where to start, I always recommend movies so you get a more diverse experience in a short amount of time. However, if you want a tv series you can't go wrong with popular picks like Attack on Titan (political action thriller), One Punch Man (Action Comedy/Satire on superheroes), Death Note (Mystery Thriller about a murderer evading capture), Demon Slayer (Action Adventure with incredible animation).
Studio Ghibli films: Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, etc
Classics that have transcended the anime community into main stream audiences. Great set of movies, with themes that will resonate with you after the movie is over. They remind you of the old classic Disney movies.
Satoshi Kon movies: Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers
A legendary set of psychological thriller movies made by a legendary animator that passed away way too young. His movies are though provoking, the closest thing I can relate them to is The Prestige or Inception. His movies are so influential, hollywood directors like Guillermo del Toro and Christopher Nolan mourned his death.
Akira and Ghost in the Shell movies (There's a tv series of this as well).
Both iconic movies that have influenced major hollywood films like the Matrix and Bladerunner. If you're into science ficiton/cyberpunk genre, check these out. They are amazing
A Silence Voice, Your Name, Wolf Children
If you feel like watching Romantic Dramas, look no closer than these 3. A Silence Voice deals with a deaf student and her bully who falls in love with her. Your Name is about a love between 2 people from different time periods. Wolf Children is about a mother who is raising two half human half werewolf children.

They are really going into Babymetal territory with Endless Night (and No More). The lyrics speak about their struggles as Minx and how happy they are to be Dreamcatcher now! Especially when it was clear that Minx had failed, they were in a dark place, hoping for "one more chance", which their company provided, much to all our luck. It is a rare thing in K-Pop that a failed group gets another chance, but their CEO is like an uncle to them. He even said in an interview that the failure of Minx was on the company, not the girls. And that if Dreamcatcher failed as well, he would become a cucumber farmer to support the girls. That is unheard of in K-Pop.
Babymetal is legendary,they have been to every major metal festival. I was hoping DC would follow them,but I also like the more chill DC.

Their Japanese tracks are all SO good, and I think it’s funny sometimes when people think their title tracks sound like anime, cuz the REAL anime-like sound is in their b-sides: Wake Up, New Days, and Scar are great ones aside from the Japanese tracks.
Also, love knowing that you’re a Nightwish fan! I grew up on Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Evanescence, aside from being a huge anime fan. The metal and J-rock influence is definitely how my friend first pitched Dreamcatcher to me!
For anime, I recommend (in no particular order)
1. Death Note
2. Asobi Asobase
3. Demon Slayer ( I know people might call it overrated and all but it is VERY good lmao)
4. The Promised Neverland (better to pick up the manga after Season 1 bc season 2 did NOT stick to the original storyline and the last episode was a freakin slideshow 😭 but the manga is SOOO worth it trust me!)
5. Gakkou Gurashi (go into this one blindly please lol)
I forget how many of the album intros you've heard or not heard, but there is a great set of an intro and outro on the japanese album.

Fucking love "Don't Light My Fire" tbh. And the whole "accessible pessimism" thing is a mood.
I do, however, have anime recommendations if you happen to still be reading this. Some of these are probably a bit dated because I was mostly into anime when I was a little younger. I don't think you need to watch all of these lmao I'm just suggesting several that I have enjoyed across a several genres so that maybe there's something among these you'll be interested in. The summaries are entirely based on my memory.
Some "starter pack" anime that many people recommend:
_Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood_ (fantasy, political drama, family drama, action) (a story about two brothers skilled in the art of alchemy, which functions like magic in this world, as they seek a way to redeem themselves from past mistakes and end up embroiled in a civil war being puppeted by dark forces)
_Ouran High School Host Club_ (slice of life, comedy, romance) (a story about a young girl accepted into a prestigious academy on a scholarship who becomes involved with the school's "host club" [think maid cafe but the servers are men, kind of] and the eccentric personalities that form it)
_Death Note_ (drama, horror, psychological, tragedy) (a story about a troubled young man who one day obtains a notebook, which if written in, will kill anyone whose name is written in the manner specified; a story about injustice and the corruption of absolute power)
Other anime that I like a lot:
_Natsume's Book of Friends_ (vignette, supernatural, slice of life, mystery) (a story about a young man trying to understand his ability to interact with _youkai,_ Japanese spirits/faeries/demons, and unravel the mystery of his grandmother's Book of Friends; often bittersweet and introspective but I find this one calming...and the stories are vignette style, so you can pick it up and put it down easily)
_Spy x Family_ (comedy, WW2 (kind of), intrigue, family drama) (a story about a spy, an assassin, and a telepathic child who become a family out of convenience and learn to love each other along the way; this is primarily a comedy with some dark themes in the backdrop; currently popular in Japan)
_Demon Slayer_ (adventure, action, fantasy, historical) (a story set in an alternate Taisho-era Japan in which a young boy seeks the power to both fight and understand demons, in order to save his sister when a tragic accident causes her to become one, by joining a secret society of demon slayers; currently popular in Japan)
_Cardcaptor Sakura_ (the original one lol) (fantasy, comedy, magical girl, romance) (a story about a young girl named Sakura who becomes the guardian of a deck of magical cards who have all escaped and must be tracked down; the story follows Sakura and her family and friends in a series of sweet, relatable vignettes loosely connected by the idea of understanding and finding the magic cards; has queer themes)
And last, if you find yourself really liking the more adventure/fantasy anime and want to tackle something longer to watch over a long span of time, I am obligated to recommend _Fairy Tail._ It's not the most popular anime of its type (adventure, fantasy, friendship, action), but it's my personal favorite. It follows the story of a young woman who joins a famous guild of mages and becomes swept up in the (mis)adventures of its extremely quirky members as she becomes part of their family and their many quests to save the world from evil.

So I want to recommend you some short-semi light hearted anime to start. (1) Erased (2) Kimi ni Todoke (3) My Love Story (ore monogatari) (4) Nana. Those are all good to kind of start, there are tons of generes to choose from, but I can see you maybe liking these. Some movies as well (1) Wolf children (2) Ponyo (3) Grave of the Fireflies (kinda super sad). I hope you check some out. Have a great trip. 🩵

My first concert was Nightwish for the Century Child album release, my cats are named Century and Tarja … I think my love of Nightwish and Epica is why I out of all the K-pop groups I stan, Dreamcatcher is number 1.

As far as anime recs, I would recommend Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia. These are newer anime and currently still going on. If you want older anime, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha are great as well.
