Saint Lucia Post Christmas Eve Floods - Journey to Dennery

After being unable to get home on Christmas eve due to the heavy rains and flooding I was luckily able to sleep by a friend in Gros Islet. This is windshield footage of my attempt to get home to Dennery. I Left Gros Islet around 7:30am. I focused the video on footage between Castries and Dennery where the damage was heaviest.

I'm watching this and I kept saying oh my God, he's gonna kill somebody, he's driving on the wrong side of the road. then my husband said that's how they do it in st lucia. because I never dive home, I do not think I'm gonna when I go back. it's been 25 yrs, not sure I remember the place anymore. thanks alot.
