In this video, we will discuss about the taxability of small business person in Nepal. The Income Tax Act, 2058 of Nepal has provides certain exemption and relaxation to individuals and proprietors who are the resident of Nepal and having only source of income from business in Nepal.
This exemption and relaxation has been provided through presumptive taxation and turnover based taxation scheme. Through this scheme, the resident natural person is required to pay tax based on the turnover and net profit subject to they fulfil other conditions as specified under the relevant provision of the Act.
