Thank you! I owe it all to you guys! Thanks for watching. Have you started your new cage? I'll have to catch up on your channel! I'm going to try to get a math video up soon. I'll at least share some simple techniques that help lay everything out when I do. One thing you can do is, measure up your old cage and figure out how much you want to extend your new one, or change angles or however you may want to change it, an old tube can be a very valuable tool. Thanks again!
@keefershotrodshop I haven't started the cage yet, I'm taking advantage of the open space to build the rear framing and sheet metal to cover the wheel tubs. I will need pointers on the cage later, but what I was referring to was pointers on getting subscribers so fast... you blew right by me... lol
@@randywiddis Oh! I gotya! I watched your video about setting up that framework for your sheet metal, it's going to be nice! As for subscribers, I guess I'm just lucky to have found a good group of viewers! I've been slow recently, but I think it helps to keep uploads steady and good thumbnails and descriptive titles always seem to help. I put lots of key words in the "Tags" section when I upload videos too, to help people find my videos. Your project is cool, I'm sure you'll get plenty of subscribers!
You may know this.. What size rear tubs for Hoosier Quick Time Pro DOT 33x22.50x15? Know one seems to know how much they will expand. I'm waiting for Hoosier to answer.
Wow! You have 33's on the Chevelle? Awesome! You could probably get away with 40" tubs, but that might be cutting it close if the tire is close to them at ride height. Sometimes people offset the tubs forward of centered with the axle a bit to clear the tire bulge at the front under power. I know people like Tim McAmis who deal with 34.5 and bigger Pro Stock and Pro Mod sized tires go to a 47" or similar sized tub. If you're serious about hauling butt on the track / big power, it might be a good idea to go over 40 just to be safe.
@keefershotrodshop Great!!! Im only looking for the 9s. The person who sold me the tubs that I have spent days installing a couple years ago, said 36 would be plenty. I was skeptical then...🙄 Well, it looks like I will be scrapping these and building my own.
Congrats! Well deserved.
Thank you! I owe it to all of y'all who tune in to watch! Thanks again.
