You're very welcome, a pigeon sounds very impressive, not an easy first make, well done, I'd love to see it if you'd like to share a pic of it, I'm on Instagram: instagram.com/julies_felted_friends/ and Facebook here: facebook.com/profile.php?id=100075753589102. Thanks for watching
So happy to find a channel currently posting in my most recent obscure craft. Request/suggestion for a future episode(s). Pick out, and follow a kit using only their supplies, and strictly following their instructions. Then make the same end result, but use all your own prefered materials, tools, and techniques.
Thank you for these comments, glad you like the channel. Also thank you for your suggestion, I really like the idea of making the same results but using my tools and techniques. I have previously reviewed two "beginners" kits following their instructions which you may like to watch, if you haven't already, it's here: th-cam.com/video/irPkSdZixBk/w-d-xo.html. Thanks for another great video. Loved the comms between Bunny and chicken 😆. I've been obsessively making (and gifting) Easter chicks and hens and thought I knew it all; but there's always something to learn in your videos (hadn't thought of using pins and have realised that (time-consuming) feet are an unnecessary addition for a roosting hen 😏 I've been using the reversed needle to make the chicks fluffy; but have broken 2 of these needles in the process- maybe I'm mis-using them? Can you please explain what the purpose of the white felting block is and where you got it? Thanks again
Aw thank you, glad you liked it, and that you liked Bunny trying to speak chicken! 🤣 What's he like! Glad you like the roosting hen with no legs, I like your idea of reverse felting them, I bet that looks good. Not sure why they're breaking but I've found you don't have to stab very deeply with the reverse felting needles, and of course make sure you come out the same direction as you went in, hope this helps. The white block is just a small piece of foam that came with a felting kit, you can sometimes get them in cheap kits from Aldi. I find it easier to use when I'm making small fiddly items, especially when felting white wool for the eyes where I don't want the white to be contaminated by the wool from the brown mat. Hope this makes sense. Happy felting and thanks for watching 😊
Your needle felting videos are very helpful for a beginner like me. So glad to have a resource like this. Thank you!
