Everyone gets so scared to try Vegimite/Marmite stuff cause they've seen those reactions of people who try to eat a glob of marmite with nothing else or stick their noses in the jars. Mar/Veg-mite are basically really concentrated Umami spreads so they're really strong but really good when used in thin amounts, particularly with fatty rich stuff like butter or cheese on bread. I was nervous to try it for ages but marmite and butter on toast is one of my go to breakfasts these days.
I love love love vegemite! Especially on toast with lots of good butter! Or on my cream cheese bagel. But its horrible expensive here. I got a lightning deal on amazon $13.50 for 2 jars. But normally its $8 a jar 🥴
Im American and my brother lives in Brisbane area nd he got me hooked on Vegemite. I have learned to spread it very thin with butter. Only way to eat it. It took me a whole year to go through one tiny jar. 😂
Oh I forgot! Mix a tablespoon of vegemite in a stick (8 tablespoons)of butter and a bit of sautéd shallots and garlic. Use it to baste roasted chickens or as a butter topper on steaks. Pushes it over the top ! Browns the chicken beautifully

If you're in the USA, Target stores may have Timtams in stock. Years ago they carried them, I have not checked recently. But if you find them, please try them. Timtams are delicious, even on their own.

But some people don't like them or can't get them where they are, so the cupcake sprinkles can be used as a substitute. But it does taste slightly different. But unlike my mother and some other aussies I know, I'm more lax on the whole "real fairy bread" thing...but I will still complain if someone puts cupcake sprinkles on the fairy bread (to be fair though, you can get 100's & 1000's easily here, so I don't see why anyone would use cupcake sprinkles unless they wanna be a bad host or they're a psychopath...). But really, it's best to use the round sprinkles because it tastes better, but that's just my opinion. I know a few people who hate the round ones, so they would rather it with cupcake sprinkles.

Or TimTam Bombs, depending on what part of Australia you’re from. It’s also great with hot chocolate, for the non-coffee lovers (or if you want it for dessert but don’t want coffee right before bed 😅). You bite one corner off at the top and one corner off at the bottom (diagonally opposite to each other, like top left corner and bottom right corner). That turns the TimTam into a “straw” that you can suck your coffee or hot chocolate through. You do one or two sips through the “straw”, then quickly throw the whole TimTam in your mouth (hence the “slam” part of the name, for the quickly getting it into your mouth bit). The hot beverage makes it suddenly melt inside your mouth, in a kind of pleasant exploding way (hence the other nickname “TimTam Bomb”). It’s a delicate balance with timing. Spend too long with the TimTam as a straw, and it will suddenly disintegrate in your hands. Spend not long enough, and you’ll throw it in your mouth and it will stay a hard biscuit. Some practice is required to get the timing perfect. 😁

bruh if you like TimTams with milk, do it with COFFEE (or like milk tea if you dont like coffee but) it gets warm and melts the chocolate and makes it moist and it's AMAZING

We have Chomp Bars in the UK. They are cheap bars for children and contain a toffee and are covered in chocolate. We also have Curly Wurly too. Early 2020, we had an alternative in bags called Curly Wurly Squirlies. Curly Wurly in small S shapes. I thought they were better than the bar as no mess. They seem to have disappeared off the shelves now. Still available online though.
If you bite the diagonal corners off the TimTam biscuit and then drink warm coffee through it (like a straw), this is called a "TimTam Slam" and is delicious as the chocolate fondant in the middle of the biscuit melts so you get a wonderful mix of chocolate & coffee mixed. Be warned you may need a tissue or two for your fingers, as it can get a bit messy from the Chocolate on the outside melting from the heat of the coffee.

Cheese and Vegemite together is a big thing down here. Such an amazing combo. Ohhhh yeahhh nothing beats a good cheese and Vegemite on white buttered toast drooooools, except maybe JUST Vegemite on white buttered toast Lolol I'm surprised you haven't tried Tim Tams before, glad they sent you the originals first, now you have to try all the others flavours that have been made since, but nothing beats original. Avoid the Manuka honey flavour though, it is srsly rank lol. My roomate loves Curly Wurly lol he wanted me to tell you that he eats the whole thing in one bite hehehe, but Caramello Koala is his fave, that and Strawberry Freddo's which are like Caramello Koala's but a frog called Freddo, and he also comes in many other flavours, I'm surprised no one has sent you guys those to try
Please try double coat Tim tams they have a thicker outer choc and are FAR superior! :D Not a bad selection of snacks but a lot of caramel stuff and we have so much good snack variety!

We have Chomp Bars in the UK. They are cheap bars for children and contain a toffee and are covered in chocolate. We also have Curly Wurly too. Early 2020, we had an alternative in bags called Curly Wurly Squirlies. Curly Wurly in small S shapes. I thought they were better than the bar as no mess. They seem to have disappeared off the shelves now. Still available online though.

If you bite the diagonal corners off the TimTam biscuit and then drink warm coffee through it (like a straw), this is called a "TimTam Slam" and is delicious as the chocolate fondant in the middle of the biscuit melts so you get a wonderful mix of chocolate & coffee mixed. Be warned you may need a tissue or two for your fingers, as it can get a bit messy from the Chocolate on the outside melting from the heat of the coffee.

Yumi's dress is totally fabulous. Her porcelain skin is set off spectacularly by the deep red color. I don't know how long Zoey and Yumi have known each other, but they work together so well that it's easy to believe they've been friends since childhood.

I'm surprised you haven't tried Tim Tams before, glad they sent you the originals first, now you have to try all the others flavours that have been made since, but nothing beats original. Avoid the Manuka honey flavour though, it is srsly rank lol.
My roomate loves Curly Wurly lol he wanted me to tell you that he eats the whole thing in one bite hehehe, but Caramello Koala is his fave, that and Strawberry Freddo's which are like Caramello Koala's but a frog called Freddo, and he also comes in many other flavours, I'm surprised no one has sent you guys those to try
