You know that taking those useless penalties he's preventing ice time for the young core. And one of them mentioned that this has to stop.
1. The Habs need a better defensive coordinator. 2. They also need a top notch shooting coach. If you depend 100% on the wrist shot to score , you become predictable. The slap shot is the most difficult shot to stop .. Very few Habs know how to slap shot on the run. Have you young boys heard of Bobby Hull, Denis Hull, Mario Lemieux, Jacques Lemaire, Guy Lafleur, Steve Shutt. The game today is different because the 400$ composite sticks have retarded slap shot usability and proficiency.
There is an issue with Gally that stems even further and it started with PK Subban Patches and Gally. Who is left on the team now? These penalties, passes and shots are by an experienced NHL player who DOES know better. Is he PURPOSELY doing this? Is he reverting back to the toxicity that was created by him and Pk? Is he JEALOUS that Juraj and NS are the players fans talk about?

We definitely need more offensive players and the defence needs time to mature. The problem when you only have 3-4 threats like we have had for the last 10 years is that its easier for the other teams to focus on them and when one or 2 end up injured your offence completly tanks. Without having any true superstar you really need a strong top 9 to keep up all season and deal with injuries
The real question is, how does Burrows still have a job, and how much longer can MSL last?
