SketchUp and Enscape is my bread and butter. Every time I get frustrated with the limitations of Enscape, Vlad is always there to remind me with his awesome 3D works, that not everything is lost and Enscape CAN be a badass rendering software in the right hands. 😄 Thank you Vlad!
Would it make sense to use scatter for placing "fuzz" in the air as well? I would imagine that some very subtle dust particles could improve the depth of the image a lot.
I tried something similar in this post instagram.com/p/CmrC1aPqubA/ but I wouldn't do volumetrics with skatter. It's too much for it to handle. If it was a dusty or steamy interior then I would do that with fog or in post.
Amazing tutorial Blad! I would love to see more processes like this, a query when you generate the groups of lights like the one in the window, what criteria do you use and how do you generate those shapes, as in previous tutorials that have lights in the windows with polygonal shapes?
When I make these light planes I always look at the shadow they cast. That is very important to me. The polygonal shapes are multiple rectangle lights randomly rotated.
It makes me very curious how to optimize scenes like this one that take a lot of geometry to detail, since I see that having such a great level of detail can make the scenes heavy, what equipment or hardware do you recommend to support scenes like this?
I would recommend a minimum of 32 gb ram, i7 processor and 3060 rtx video card. But you can also optimize heavy scenes in sketchup by using proxies, hiding layers and not using profiles in the lines options.
Hello sir I have a question when ever I placed any spot light just in front of Any mirror a dot kind of thing visible however I placed lighting as a fill light It looks really unrealistic. Is there any way that lights source not visible into the mirror
You can actually hide the spot light in enscape. It's the only type of light you can make invisible in some reflections. Just make a light panel out of spotlights just like the one in the tutorial and just rotate it away from the mirror. You will notice that if you rotate it 40, 42 degrees the reflection dissappears from the mirror. Just slightly rotate the spotlight away from the mirror and that will do the trick.

sadly , enscape doesnt have that feature yet . yes in vray you can toggle the visibility on and off of lights in reflections
