Such a great song truly elevated by Sura !! Her raps balanced out the ethereal vibes so beautifully 😭😭😭 I want to be able to have this on my Apple Music library
Ok after listening to the song itself to figure out what it’s about then coming back to hear her verse it makes way more sense then it did the first time i watched this episode. Sura Ali actually did have the best verse.
Mereba fans that listen to her full discography understand that this track is about real shit, real life. Sura matched that energy and talked about real shit in her style. Exactly as she should. Unapologetic af. Both em 💜💜
This song is deep asf you really gotta pay attention. I love DreTL and Jay Taj but I’m rocking with Sura Ali tough . I don’t even like listening to female rappers but she’s talented asf.
Sura Ali truly brought another dimension to the song like Mereba said. I disagree with Luda. If anyone has heard the last verse on the extended version, I understood the song to be more about accepting the challenges you face in life and pushing forth regardless of what anyone says. Its also about the loved ones we've lost and realizing their experiences only give us more strength. Comment if you have another interpretation. I'm open!
I definitely see both sides but in the end I agree with Ludacris. The song is about coming out of a dark place. Sura Ali came on talking about people dying and bringing chaos. I loved her flow on it but she didn’t lyrically match the vibe. I think realistically she just didn’t vibe with the song so she rebelled against the challenge which was to match the energy of the song. I honestly don’t know if the collab challenge should be chosen for them because true artists are only gonna jump on songs they vibe with. But also if you’re on a label you may be forced to do songs so I get it.
SuraA is talking about rising, in her own way using her language, inspired by where she’s coming from. People just need to be more open to other people’s experiences right, wrong or indifferent …
I feel Netflix was being thrifty for this season. They didn’t have a music video challenge and I really wanted to see that. Then they should have brought out songs that were popular for the collab episode.
I'm sorry, but this song is too slow and and dark for my taste. Why would anyone want to listen to a song that brings down your mood. Naw... y'all can keep this strange emo ish.

The best way how I can describe this verse is like adding a flame to a dark room with endless space🔥🔥
That collab matched perfectly... soft with some aggressiveness
This was perfect
