    Hi, wonderful videos, I have a big question I'm using Surfcam but Im looking for a cam that can make the finishing surface that you made but with several chose surfaces I mean my drawing the helix surface is compose for several surfaces no just one, can NX machine with the same operation several surface finishing? Or do I have to make and arrangement to join those surfaces or faces to create one surface face to produce the a finish operation like your? I would like to share my model with you for an easy understanding, just tell me how.

      Hi. You generally don't need to make arrengements on surfaces when using finishing operations. In Contour area (three axis machining) you can chose several surfaces and machine it just with clicking generate. But if you have openings or holes on your model and you don't want your toolpath to engage those openings you make simple patches with n sided surface or other patching operations. But when it comes to five axis simultaneous operations if you have simple parts you again don't need to make surface arrengements. Even machining surface consist of several parts you can machine the surface with streamline method. Because you just select the surface outer peripheries with this method.
      For complex surfaces like blades, medical parts with simultaneous operations you generally make detailed surface arrangements for need of better toolpath quality. But if you know surfacing operations well it is not difficult actually.
