Very very tough session in blazing hot temperatures here guys.....I’m pretty confident that if I stuck with just fan casting and did not try the stalking and indicator tactics I may have only had the one fish that I caught in the first ten minutes of my Day.....the only other things I could have tried were a dry fly (which probably would have worked) or size 18/20 nymphs but you really need to drop down the 3/4lb tippet for that.... I hope you guys enjoy the vid
Nice one Chad as usual. Lots of good seasonal tips here for beginners and the more experienced who may have forgotten some sound basics. The heat can do that to a person ;)
Mate the same for me was throwing teams of buzzers dries everything at them then it happened on came the indicator with 2 buzzers and a blob on the point I ended up with 12 so I wouldn't worry what people think there just fishing snobs. By the way was that a greys rod I seen you using lol
Its always tough when it's that hot, it's 19°C here at the moment in Scotland so I won't have heat and sun as an excuse!!! Keep up the good work Chad ATB Chris
Bob Turner yeah it was ....just went live on his website.....lots of fish at least had a look at it and when the water is that hot that’s the best you can hope for
I will stick to fishing for Brownies in the hill Lochs and salmon in the rivers, sea trout on the salt this looks a bit boring, fishing a tiny wee pond for stocked fish.
Gary Johnson I think you are missing the point of this video... due to the water temperature this video was about using non traditional techniques to still catch fish
