Was there heresy or blasphemy in the song they sang? Were they singing about some kind of sin or encouraging others to sin in the lyrics of the song?

I feel in reference to the question about if Jesus had went into the club and it was recorded would it have been wrong. Jesus would’ve went into the club with a sole purpose to save and his stepping in that room would’ve changed the atmosphere. No one can have a personal encounter with Jesus and leave unchanged. It would no longer have been a club. It would’ve been a place of ministry. The collaboration should have left GloRilla experiencing a change in her life.

I think it's easy to see how Christ was not understood during his day because we half hear and whole tell. We are good at knowing how others should move in what God is telling them. I'm glad I didn't get the ministry of telling others how God will use them. So rather than saying what right or wrong about what others are led to do, I go with what is wise and not wise and give God the room to do what He will.

I'm sorry, but based on Kirk's previous comments, I do not believe that Kirk was looking at this as an opportunity to plant seeds. I truly believe that the only reason Kirk agreed to collab is because she stroked his ego. Kirk has already said that his greatest fear is that he will be forgotten. A person who makes a statement like that is concerned about their legacy, their glory and will do just about anything to attain and promote yourself to ensure that people will continue to talk about him.

@AnotherMovieexactly!! People who care more about not offending people vs not offended God. The Holy Spirit thru Paul made it clear in Eph 5:11. I can’t join a non believer or lukewarm Christian in their darkness. I can pray for them, witness to them and trust that Jesus will go into that darkness to get them. My job as a believer is to represent His light by staying on that lamp stand. I’m not supposed to go under the bed. Jesus can though. When I see the fruit of repentance I can ask The Holy Spirit if I’m assigned to yoke up with them and help them through their journey of repentance.

People judge them off of their appearances and not their character. And she didn’t bring them into her “darkness” they invited her into their light. Some Christian have to learn to love and do life with people. Jesus didn’t separate himself from non believers, he ate with them, he walked with them, he talked and taught them God’s word. I think them bring her on to rap about Christ is them being on the lamp stand WITH her. I don’t know, man. That perspective feels inconsistent. Are you saying a Christian couldn’t collaborate with a non Christian in any context? For instance, are you suggesting a Christian businessman shouldn’t work with a non Christian business partner? The verse “what fellowship has light with darkness” is often cited in this context, but it originally refers to participation in practices like idol worship like eating food sacrificed to idols or engaging in demonic rituals.
If a Christian artist collaborates with a non-Christian artist, I don’t see an inherent issue as long as the collaboration doesn’t promote anything contrary to Christianity or the gospel. After all, Christian businesspeople work with non Christians all the time without compromising their faith. So, what makes this scenario different?

We don’t want to confuse people with a message that we can follow Christ and still be in the world. What does Romans 12:2 says Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. The Bible also tells us that we cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24) meaning can’t serve God and money .. things of this world (“culture”). I think they should seek God and check motives of the heart . Make sure they are really trying to bring her to Christ or trying to make a “hit record “ and make money.

Just food for thought, a principle of a believer being able to persuade a person to change that you discussed in the show doesn't start and stop with musicians and artists. It'd ignorant to think that way ans we can't pick part that apply. What you're saying can apply to anyone in all walks of life. Unbelief isn't there because of a profession or occupation. it's there because of the absence of revelation and conviction a person has.
If what you said stands about darkness and light and everything being separated then boy, Rehab shouldn't be there. Let the seeds be sown. God will judge the heart of the people. If the exposure is only 5mins or a song, a sing that still carries God and who he is still glorifies him. It doesn't havrn to be for you guys but that song could be sent for somebody and change their life.

Look how easily we become Pharisees and Sadducees! Look! Look how easily we become Simon Peter when he was ashamed eating pork with the Gentiles only when the Jews saw him and Paul rightfully and openly rebuked him.
We are a Christ-follower child of God first before any occupation, wordly title, etc. We have no idea who is praying to The Lord, like The Lord advised Ananias Saul was praying to Him for his sight to be restored, and may be saying Lord of you're real cause Glorilla to acknowledge you in her music.
Not that we need to appease the secular world yet we are to CONTEND for the Faith. If a secular artist comes and asks a Christian artist to collaborate and that secular artist is willing to forsake their secular mannerisms and acknowledge Jesus Christ to collaborate the Christian artist should use the leverage of Christ to win them over!
How is the panel guy from NOLA excused to go into "darkness" the club to perform Gospel rap (alcohol in the club, drugs, sexual content, lasciviousness, etc) and say I'm doing the benediction outside the club any different than a Gospel artist collaborating with a secular artist? It's a BENEDICTION for the secular artist and their fans!
Stop being so Heavenly minded you're no Earthly good! Stop being so stiff-necked & upright that you forget to reach after the lost!
Not every Christian artist is serving The Lord, yet not every Christian artist is not not serving The Lord.
The Bible counsels is the reason we have the hungry and homeless amongst us is because we're not helping them from our portion, our sustenance! Meaning we keep building centers and facilities and partnering with worldly ideology of how to help people yet the Bible says we should take the homeless into our homes! So where we at frfr?

Atthe min mark 18:18.... the heart is wicked above all & unfortunately, our good intentions apart from the wisdom AND, Most Importantly, the Understanding of the mind & heart of The Most High/Christ is vain. "WE" aren't saving anyone, HE is & one must 1st be drawn & blown on by HIM in order to be saved anyhow. A lot times the devil be all in those details & we think we compromise'n to "help" The Holy Ghost win a soul when that very concept goes against the very mind of Christ. HE doesn't need our "help". HE desires our unwavering obedience, trust, & faith.
ABSOULTELY say No... this is one of the main reasons the world has no respect for the things of God, because too many of "HIS people" waver for ambition & too be liked.
The world definitely understands what it means to respect what YOU say you believe. You know how we know.... ask a GD, a Stone, a Latin King, a Mason, a Soro, a Frat.... and the list goes on... to do ANYthing against what they believe & pledged oaths to for your sake & see what happens.

As a believer of The Way, your artistry needs to be pleasing to God. Removing The Lord calls our standards to be alignment with His word.

Im not saying its only us but it seems like its mostly black people in churchbdoing this compromising. It bothers me because that kinda of reasoning he made about Gorillas song on that album is exactly why people especially the older folk and elders say rap is evil and cant be used by God! They use examples like that without knowing the good rap music that exist from people like Plain James or KB or Flame or Bizzle or others that actually do music to only glorify honor and profess chirst. No they will bring up this person and their music to say see this why its not of God is of the devil and is evil and shouldn't be in the church and listened to by Christians if they not worldly or lukewarm smh! 😑

You never know through what and when God will intervene in someone's life. I can personally attest to being brought closer to God by messages from so called "worldly" people. Or people that were in the middle of a falling away from the church. I don't limit what God can do.
That said - Glorilla probably isn't the best case for this type of thing, at least not at this stage of her career. But I don't automatically think someone CANT be reached by that song or influenced to listen to more edifying things. Nobody is trying to get all of their theology from one song. It can just be a breadcrumb, or a seed. Key word - can. Not saying it always will be for everyone.

Mannnnnn, thats why you cant separate an artist from child of God. thats a problem the church has. they support artist being artist, baptist them in water and act like its allll guuuud. Narrow Road. i think I say that every video you guys put up. You artist are not artist, your worshippers.your life is for the Lord. your skill is for the Lord. its not about making a name for yourself. ITS HIS NAME WE REPRESENT.

The gospel artist compel to partner with secular artists will have to give an account for their decisions. I pray they make the right decisions

Shout out to trap theology and all of the other rappers that’s on that board. I wanna state this comment that we all must understand. None of us is perfect not one. The Lord saved me six years ago. I was one of the big hot DJs from where I was at. Let them do their walk. He’s gonna save them. Their relationship is gonna maintain through the whole walk. let’s speak on this. I listen to Kingdom music and when I heard Trapology man, it was hard too, but we still use Street beats. We still wear chain around our neck idols When God delivered me from all of that he showed me how to be with afflicted people and that’s when we shine bright talking down on these people make us just like so-called people in the church. Encourage them with love and pray for them. They have to go through their walk. We was taught not to tear down the buildup because everyone are you on that panel talking about this each, and every last one of y’all walks are different. There’s only one thing that connects all of y’all together. That is Christ. We can’t forget how he delivered us and how he’s going to deliver them it’s up to them pray for them yes up to them is their free wheel. They have to make the decision. We only heard them when we keep talking about it. Keep trying to force it. We can’t force them and it seems like everybody that gets delivered. We do this and none of us are perfect. Christ made us perfect. Christ gonna forgive us, but they have to go through their procedure man. They have to go through their walk with him. He will never forsake them. He will never turn away from them when we do these things we don’t understand how it affects people’s walk love them encourage them pray for them. They are the election of God. It was not of works. It was a faith and yeah, not all of us. It’s like the panel they all gonna have a personal relationship with him good or bad he chose them. It’s up to them to choke to choose him. God bless you all.

You are being light in the darkness. The only way to be effective in ministry is through relationship. The dude that said it's for her audience is incorrect. That song was for glorilla, before it's for her audience

But after all this time we aint seen it so why he keeps collaborating with secular worldly artists? Thats fir ANY Christian musicians not just rappers!

Y’all talking about Kirk Franklin like anything he does glorifies Christ! Come on! Let’s call a spade a spade! Kirk Franklin is as worldly as it gets! The young man hit the mail on the head. What fellowship does LIGHT have with darkness. God gets NO glory from any of this mess! I don’t know anything about glorilla but I know about that unrepentant Kirk Franklin, and when he stands before the Lord in judgment he will have no excuse for his life!!! Zaccheus repented AND received salvation according to the Bible!!!

When Christians want to Compromise they misquote scripture; instead of surrendering to God’s will they squeeze God to surrender to their will. Sad but true. We must be separate, be holy as God is holy. Give her the Gospel. Thus is a record deal plain & simple
