The fact that it helps people get to places faster is a good thing, for if you are going to a specific place that you already know where it is. Like a village for example.
@@Elemental_Man sorry to be that guy but its border*. beside the space inside the border is huge. if everything was loaded it would take around 20-30gb. the issue isnt the size its the extra processing power needed to load all those new chunks so quickly

I'm playing on a Server where the owner disabled Riptide, because I learned how to use it to fly in rain and told him how PWeather with essentials can be used to fly in the rain anytime. Didn't think Riptide was that broken, but okay XD. 'Find alternative way to fly with enchanted trident via Riptide enchantment, owner disables Riptide enchantment that allows this', lol. If people find a means to fly using either the Elytra or Vanilla Enchantments, let em fly. Can you imagine if you did that on this Server, lol. Owner says 'No Elytras', so you fly with Riptide instead? Lol XD. I can imagine it, you telling the owner "Well you said no Elytras, so I'm not using an Elytra, I'm flying with Riptide instead. No rules have been broken, I'm just using an alternative means of flight as intended by Mojang" and the owner being like "What the... " XD

"No Naked Killing" is a good rule, if you have armor in your inventory, you gotta wear it, since thats just bypassing.
Elytra are known for causing server crashes and bloating the file size because some players load a lot of chunks quickly that never get used
