  • Stick around for a tour of our Airbnb, a cost breakdown for our stay, and to see how we handle corrupt cops.
Come along with us and explore the capital city of Mexico's largest state Chihuahua. We start out by exploring the centro area and the main church (Catedral Metropolitana de Chihuahua). After we take a stroll down Calle Libertad and stop by Casa Chihuahua which now houses a museum covering the history of the area as well as some art installations. Next up we visit the very unique Mammoth museum (Museo del Mamut) which has a full mammoth skeleton as well as a ton of other interesting fossils and relics. Being that Chihuahua is pretty close to the US border they have some more tastes of home so we stop in a couple of different BBQ restaurants during our stay.
This city also has some fancy steakhouses so we re-do our anniversary dinner at Great American Steakhouse. Later we try out a local spirit, Sotol, at La Sotoleria.
The next day we stroll around town taking in the unique architecture before heading back into centro to visit the Palacio de Gobierno which houses some beautiful murals and also a tribute to the revolutionary historical figure Miguel Hidalgo who was executed here.
A couple days later we head out to compare a local dish (Montados) at two of the highest rated restaurants in the city (Escuadron Montados y Burritos and Montados La Junta). In between we take a long stroll in one of the city's many parks (Parque El Palomar).

It is nice you visit some places that most people don't. The North of Mexico is not very popular among turists. You definetively must visit Álamos and San Carlos in the state of Sonora, you will love it

Hi! Great video again! We are going to transit through Chihuahua on our way to Guadalajara in a week. Chihuahua was pretty! Any chance you can share the Air BNB? We are looking for one with a secure place for our Ford Flex (with a cargo box! ) and that parking area looks like it is long enough! Thanks so much!
