Thank you for the story and I really like the narrator. I do set all my audio books at 1.50 speed. It was the same for the slow readers in elementary class, I had to read paragraphs ahead.
This story is very good but so far it has been spoiled by advertisement rakes I’m going to vote with my feet and I’m going to leave it thank you very much for the nice story
I think the advertising is inconsistent. I haven’t had any ads on this book but had a few on the previous books. But I understand ads being a reason not to finish. I’ve tried to listen to books but the ads every ten minutes ruined it.
I really can’t pinpoint if it’s the very slow drawl or the accent or both but I couldn’t finish listening I’m a fan of the author!! But this off the mark I feel Like the audio is in slow motion like she’s speaking slowly and annunciating everything I honestly mean no disrespect I just couldn’t enjoy the story
Just love the Holiday book. GOD bless you for the audio. My eyes don't tear and its hard to read more than 15 minutes at a time.

I am sorry, but this narrator’s southern accent is way too much, I can’t finish it, it’s so distracting, and takes away from the story

I agree, the narrator is terrible. too much over the top with slang and pronunciation. It sounds like also to be drunken.
