I used to bake all the time but I haven’t had a working oven for a year - just about to complete our kitchen renovation and this is the first cake I will bake!! Can’t wait to get back in the kitchen 😆 thank you xx

i am in US but grew up in india growing up in delhi there cakes and icing were very soft and fluffy i used to love cake and pastry there in US they are bad very heavy cream maybeit was the milk quality the same about cheese there was nirulas and pizza king which started pizzs there but later closed but there cheese were very good , in south india kerala at that time the cake creams were horrible it was like as it they put same thick paste of cream they put between cookies they put on cakes , only plum cakes were good there but now i feel the quality in delhi has become what we get in US very thick cream which i dont like , but the good ones in delhi still make the old style fruffy cream which doesnot make you feel weigheddown
