- The Bronco Sport is finally here and Ford is trying to cover all their bases. The 2021 Bronco Sport is geared to go against vehicles like the Jeep Cherokee & Compass. On the outside of the Badlands trim you will find more ground clearance, optional wheels, off road tires, skid plates just to name a few differences over the base Bronco. On the inside you will find an 8in infotainment system, upgraded seats, and a colorful display in the dash. Under the hood is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 that is producing 250HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Is the NEW 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands the BEST compact SUV to BUY?

I bet this bronco sport would do really well off-road. Big fan of the 2 liter and 8 spd auto after driving the escape version. Great thorough review Joe. This vehicle is a game changer. I'm not an suv fan, but this vehicle offers speed and off road capability.

Most engine covers are hard plastic so if anything Ford is actually spending more on a soft engine cover than going cheap with a hard plastic one.
My local dealer just got one of these. I really like the safari roof and the style as a whole. Ford has been out of my view for a while, but the Bronco has definitely peaked my interest. Great video!

I like it! And I agree the interior is especially nice and well thought out. I also like that you used actual Twinkies as a prop. Good thinking! I didn't like the camera angle used during the driving segments as it was too difficult to see out the front which detracted from the "experience" of being there in the car. Great review and video. Joe, I'm really guilty of paying more attention to the big Bronco like many other people.... BUT I have to say, the "Baby" Bronco is actually way better than I expected. I've done research even on the base model of this "Baby" Bronco and it's really better than I expected. Nice review as always! Thanks for bringing it to us.
Seriously what you said the more I'm looking the more I'm liking. For a daily driver SUV this is very appealing with the moderate off road ability. I personally love the cyber orange.

If you look at the body closely, I think this Bronco Sport looks more like a glorified Escape from the 2000's, which, in this case, isn't necessarily a bad thing. The first generation Escapes were more rugged/utilitarian.
Still driving my 2012.

I would take the Bronco Sport, over the Escape any day. And then possibly upgrade to the big Bronco.
This is the bronco that should fit most people’s needs. The other one seems to be for the suburbs.
I'm trying to decide between the Badlands Bronco sport and TRD Toyota 4runner. I dont suppose you can do a side by side comparison with a box of twinkies and snicker bars. I want to see which door panel holds the most for resale value.
I would go TRD 4Runner!
4runner way bigger and way better resale plus it’s Toyota no brainer.... Bronco more style points but really not worth it could be junk reliability for all we know.... could wait few years for 4runner refresh might have more people trading in 4runners then

I like the looks of the vehicle. Wish it had turn signal lights mounted in the exterior mirror caps. Also wished it had heated cooled seats. Would get this engine over the smaller one.

Best vehicle review channel on the internet. Definitely a sweet little vehicle. I did end up going with the full size Base model. I just had to have the option to take the doors and top off and I really wanted a manual. And I have all kinds of places to put Twinkies! 😉

Do you think the price is competitive? It seems like there is novelty factor built into the price, but you do get a lot. This one here is about $8k more than my fiancé’s Tiguan. Not exactly comparable, I just don’t see 8k extra value. Thanks for the video! Love the baby bronco review

5.7s 0-60 is GTI territory, this suv can really move. I wish they would have had added a couple more inches of rear legroom though. Nice video.
5.7 seconds makes no sense. The Escape which is much lighter rates at around 7.0 seconds for the 2.0 liter engine. Other tests claim of 7.5 seconds, 0 - 60 times for the Bronco Sport, which is more sensible.
that 4 cyl turbo ecoboost is going to be the death knell of ford
