This is a great story! Some of the things I found with your date… He has bad credit and a week follow through. I’m a legally blind woman…age 51 and something similar happened to me about 20 years ago. I went out with this guy that I knew from a class we were taking. He took a day class and I took a night class, but we would see each other in passing. We talked for a while, he took me on a date… bowling, dinner at a somewhat upscale place, and then back to his home. He asked me if I wanted a drink and I told him no because I don’t drink. He started drinking anyway. Then, he made a move on me and wanted to get it in. I told him that I had an STD (lying) and I asked him to take me home. He said that he couldn’t drive because he was drunk. This was before Uber and Lyft so I had to call a cab. (from his home phone because cell phones weren’t popping back then). I had NO money on me… Bad move on my part. So I called a cat, cab driver came and picked me up. When I got to my apartment, I told the driver that I didn’t have any money on me, but I have some in my apartment. I gave The driver my I.D. so that he knew that I would come back. I came back down and gave him the payment. I didn’t hear from the date guy again… and that was the whole plan. Also, as a woman in the blind Community, some men will try to hide you and be with you in secret, so to speak. I’m good on that! I’m nobodies secret! I love your channel!

I can't imagine the feeling of the time between the call for the cab and it arriving. Used to hate calling cabs, I've had to pull the whole I'll pay you when I get up too
Lol, girl you can obviously do better than that guy. It’s amazing what people try to pull. Way back when I was still single and could drive, I went on a date with this guy who lived an hour away from me. He claimed to be a screenwriter or something. Lived with his mom “temporarily.” His car was in the shop. I must’ve been bored so I picked him up for dinner and a movie. “Dinner” was the McDonalds drive thru. Uh huh. He did pay for the movie. Oh and the heel of his shoe kept falling off, lol. So after the movie I took him home where he oh so generously invited me in for oral sex. Um, NO. He was such a classy guy, lol. I’m sure the women were lining up. 🙄 Good luck with dating. It’s not for the faint of heart, lol.

Lack of communication/clarity and boundaries is why most unpleasant experiences occur. Most bad dates can be avoided. You're probably more communicative on YT and social media than you are with people you go on dates with. Second date shouldn't have happened red flags were clearly visible on the first date.
Good point. I've admitted in other videos I muzzle myself when I should speak up... working on it lol. Need to have more ridgid boundaries too and yeah, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and a second shot to feel it out 🤣🤣🤣 Could've done without
I haven’t been on a date since my vision loss but I would feel more comfortable letting my date know from the beginning that I am blind & I definitely would NOT have paid for his food. As soon as he let that lame, predictable excuse leave his lips I would have made an about face & got back in the car to go home, lol
