Having freedom weekend in different locations I think as an observer only, is a good thing because it gives different folks opportunity to attend. Connections are what's important to create.
We used to have to worry about hay all the time when we raised horses. I realize what relief you feel to know your hsy is taken care of for the rest of the year. We eventually bought property 98 miles west of our home place that was 17 acres of coastal hay. We were then able to supply our own hay but had to have someone bale it for us..

Duck tape makes a waterproof tape that I used for my dog's pool. Gorilla tape does as well.

Ride? I mowed my yard Sat. And I know you are loving your zero turn ,I know I love mine. Mine is a Husqvarna zero turn. It was really windy Saturday , but now there is no wind today, an the heat index is over 105. There is nothing like having a good neighbor.

You should use 2 liter soda bottles for their water. It cuts down on filling them

Greetings from Northeast Ohio. Is there a really not a recycling center near you? All the cardboard and plastic that goes in that dumpster. Do you ever think about where it goes from there. You need to watch some documentaries on the trash that we accumulate and how we could help the environment if everyone would do it. Gary could only find one scoop when he went to feed the animals. You can make a scoop out of a gallon milk jug. Simply cut it in half.

Most of that stuff you think you recycle in CA actually is never recycled. The fact is that it's so much cheaper to make new plastic than try to separate the different types, melt it down and reform it.
Check your states figures...it's embarrassing how bad capitalism really is.
The system to recycle is expensive and the will to do it is weak.
In the country recycling is mostly repairing and making things last forever...not like the west coast throwaway culture
