"You can cut all the flowers, but you cannot stop spring from coming" [P. Neruda]
We talk about the task of collective growing up, finding eldership, and learning to listen to the land, about the need for the global north to heal and reconnect with the roots first to restore the global balance.
    And finally:
    "
    - What stands between us and the world that we dream about?
    - Comfort!
    "
A'ida Shibli is a queer Indigenous Bedouin woman from Palestine who grew up under Israeli occupation; she's a nurse, feminist, ecological & peace activist, long-term member of Tamera & founder of Global Campus Palestine. Since decades she works to end political & sexual repression & violence in her home country & globally, for the liberation of the feminine & for the restoration of community & indigenous knowledge.
Conversations of Good Ancestors are an attempt to reestablish an intergenerational solidarity in the times of trouble. What is our obligation as adults, as persons who live now, in the midst of polycrisis and beginnig of collapse towards the generations to come? How to recognise the seeds that we need to plant now, so that our grandchildren can sit in the shade of old trees?
