I’ve been feeling like the black stories I see (books, movies, shows, etc.) use the same 2-3 plots so THANK YOU FOR THIS. These seem sooo interesting and the covers look AMAZING.
AHHHHHHH ILONA ANDREWS! I’m a huuuuuuge fan so I’ll be reading Burn for Me with you 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 Good Luck Girls sounds faaaaaaab, looking forward to your review! Great video 😊😊
I really want to read War Girls and Riot Baby by Onyebuchi but I just read his first book and felt the same as you about the main character. I'm hoping his newer stuff is better because I follow him on Twitter and he seems like such an awesome guy.
Which shelf are you looking at and what color are the spines of the books you want to know the names of? I don't think I have a copy of City of Bones or any Tamora Pierce books
@@meriani777 Oh, okay cool. The green and black book is the UK cover of Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir (the rest of the US copies of the series is behind the Inej picture; UK Ember in the Ashes then US Ember in the Ashes and A Torch Against the Night, then US Reaper at the Gates). The upside down black book is the US City of Brass then the UK copies of City of Brass, and Kingdom of Copper. Idk why I have so many multiples lol.
Like low-key I’m also going to lose people who read a dystopian book and be like yo how did you get that random item that is a product of like either a.) the first world society me that the writer clearly lives in or be some shit that would immediately b.) gone if the world fell apart. Like a character in a dystopian novel I read recently ate a Twinkie but the world had went to shit like 200 years before that. So, I was trying to understand who is making these Twinkies because it was said that it was a Twinkie not the pastry that is a Twinkie but a actual Twinkie, And I kid you not for like three chapters it took me out the story completely. 🤷🏾♀️
Don't you just love the internet age making it easier to find our stories 🤩🤩🤩
