I bought mine over a year ago and like all the Leatherman products I was very happy with the build quality. I for some reason never carry them though, unless I make a point to. 😂👍. Great review!
Many decades? I assume you just mean a Leatherman, and not the Crunch specifically. It was only out into production in 1999, just over two decades ago. Not what I'd consider 'many decades.'
I loved this so much when I got it, then after a week or so only used it like you showed overtightened as a pair of pliers, then i had an attack of common sense and went back to carrying my wave+. Super well made, but that's a given from Leatherman.
They are now $119 🤦🏼♂️ I ordered a pair today, also recently ordered the Charge TTI+ I think the Crunch will come in super handy when I need to hold tight one side while losening another side and also where my handles won't let me clamp down on something for to long do to Carpel Tunnel issue. It's like having and Extra grippy hand 🤗 Thanks for sharing your thoughts 👍🏻
So I just bought the Victorinox spirit x for $140 and then today I stumble across this one for the first time now I’m torn if I should buy her another multi tool lol
Not particularly a fan of Leatherman, well not until they made the version that didn't cut into your palms every time you squeeze the pliers, but this really looks worthwhile! Generally speaking, most EDC have all the same features. Everyone's going ape shit over that Tom sacks Leatherman, I would take this over that any day. It's quite rare that any everyday carry can do actual work, this looks like you could.
Hmm...interesting. I have an older Kershaw that is similar. It has needle nose locking pliers instead of "snubby" style. Also, along the handle without the screwdrivers and such there is a three inch locking knife blade. Super cool multi tool. It's the second one I have like this. First one was "Craftsman" branded and identical. Lost that one and found this one in a pawnshop and jumped on it!
I ordered mine directly from the Leatherman site, the same day the Mr. Crunch was listed for sale. Unfortunately the Mr. Crunch sold out before I could buy one, so I bought the crunch instead.
@@mattconklin4026 So far it is holding up very well. I'm still using it, no issues as of yet. As soon as i have my first issue, I will pin a comment with details. It has been part of my EDC, at least until I find something better. I think the tool section could of been better, but having locking pliers in your pocket sure is handy. :D
Cool video. No intro. No fluff. 3.5 minutes. Nice.
I think this is one of the most underrated multi-tools that provides unique features in addition to everything else.
I got one of these, a week or so ago. I didn't know about the 1/4" bit driver capability, till now. That's a nice bonus!
U can put t shanks in the cute out in the pliers too where he put the pin. So u can saw
I love my Leatherman Crunch. It's the most beautiful multitool ever.
Leatherman makes excellent products and has outstanding customer service!!
I need this Leatherman tool, most definitely a must've indeed. Thank you for the review.

❤❤❤
Yeah this model is underrated. It’s pretty amazing when you consider that it’s basically the same size as the original pst.
That hex bit sold me. Everything was great and then you unscrewed the bolt and threw on a bit extender!
I have had a pair for many decades now. One of the original models it's in my truck.

@@jacobwhite6247 ok Karen 23 yrs is only two decades LMMFAO
Awesome to see they brought it back!
Lesatherman has discontinuted this! It is still the best multi-tool I have ever used.
I wear a Crunch and a Super Tool 300 in a twin magazine holster that one might see on a police officer. Great pair of tools!

They are for sure a niche product. I've been leaving the wave at home ever since I got this one. So far I'm pretty happy with it.
@@1D10CRACY do you still edc it?
Currently yes. It seems to be holding up well.
Got mine last week and am loving it! Thanks for posting!
Can also grip a recip saw blade it the pliers. There's a groove just for that

I what so bad those pliers in my Surge. I will happily trade half of inside tolls for a vice grip stile
I had no idea either... pretty cool and nice review!!
I didn't realize this existed until a day ago... and now that I'm hot for one they're discontinued and selling for (OK, asking for) $175+ on Ebay.
I have the older Kershaw version of this I bought at a swapmeet for $7
Comes with a leather case also
Love it !!!!!
I applaud you for the subliminal message.
I knew they made this but I thought it was discontinued some time ago
What do you do for a living?
How did you get one? They seem to be out of stock everywhere. I was also looking for this a few weeks ago.
I ordered mine directly from the Leatherman site, the same day the Mr. Crunch was listed for sale. Unfortunately the Mr. Crunch sold out before I could buy one, so I bought the crunch instead.
I didn't even know they started making them again. I have one from the '90s that's never been used.
No pocket clip?
There is not! And I wish it did have one! Probably the only thing I don't like about this model!
@@1D10CRACY I'd totally edc this if it had a pocket clip great review. 5 months later how is it going?
