I can relate to him so much, because although I can speak english well, I never do it in front of people, just because I'm scared I'd make a mistake.

I am so hyped and pissed at the same time. Once again our man Zach were asking our boys IMPORTANT QUESTIONS. Bts was grateful just like they were last year when they had an interview with him. But why are the ppl telling Zach to wrap it up? Ugh! 😠 You can clearly see his irritation. Bts too. They are comfortable with him.

i feel like they enjoy zachs interviews just as much as we do. they do these short interviews and many have the same questions but zach is always prepared and seems like he just loves music and is always so prepared (with every artist he interviews) and i think they can feel that. really hope well get the full lenght 30-40 minute interview at one point with zach.. maybe on their tour if they dont have time now

The thing about Zach's interviews is he actually seems to be listening and gives a thoughtful response. He doesn't just fire mindless questions. I can tell how much Namjoon appreciates it.
exactly, i think a good interviewer also makes it more like a conversation. Both of them were engaging and learning from the other and really having a good discussion

This interviewer is AMAZING. He actually does his research, appreciates BTS, their music, and their messages. He asks meaningful, engaging questions every time and makes the members comfortable. RM was genuinely into this interview.

The fact that he takes the time to actually listen to the music, and read the lyrics is just amazing... Also how he plans to auction off the shirt and give all the money to UNICEF, even Namjoon (RM) was surprised by this action. Zach is by far the best interviewer our boys have had so far. Thank you Zach for taking the time to genuinely get to know them and their overall message.

Rini Trianti nope it’s not signed. It could be that he liked the shirt and bought one for himself. He’s the shopaholic of the group anyway.. Haha. Or he bought it out of the auction and wash the signature off so that it won’t be so obvious.
Yet, we can conclude that Zack has a strong impact to BTS, espc Tae. He went that far to put that particular shirt in an MV. That must be really something for Zack too though it’s “just” his job.
I just love how BTS is making real connections to real people and doesn’t really put distance to a great interviewer like him. They really are bonding with people..

I love that Zach took the time to not only listen to the album but to look up the lyric translations. You could see how much Namjoon really appreciated it and how happy it made him. All other interviewers need to take notes because THIS is how you should be interviewing them.
jin’s shoulder that jungkook loves I know right! Last year his interview was by far the best in my opinion. You can tell RM really likes Zach because he actually cares about the questions and answers

This interview is always one of the best, and you can tell that Namjoon really likes him and cares about what he has to say. To see it reciprocated is rare for this most recent set of interviews, so it's refreshing

For me, Zach Sang and Liam McEwan are the great guys to interview BTS. They ask really relevant questions. It's no wonder them guys are so involved and interested in answering.
SAAAME they are my two favourite interviewers by far! I wish they could have more time to ask their question and simply discuss with the guys!

and the look he gave a little before that too - man he looked pissed haha. We know they are only allocated a short time slot each but his questions are always the kind of questions we fans want answered-not the same dribble asked over and over by others. I hope BTS will give some time to him in the future for a longer interview when they aren't so pushed for time like when they're touring perhaps. :)

The language barrier obviously makes it difficult to communicate fully. I wish they all spoke the same language because damn BTS and Zach would have some really deep and interesting conversations together

When zach was poked with the pen to remind him that they were out of time, the way he shrugged it off with an unbothered look and kept on asking them questions!! Whereas any other interviewer wouldve wrapped it up immediately!! God damn i love zach for this he's amazing at this
no not everyone else woudlve wrapped it up right away lol. theyd do pretty much the same thing and ask a few quick questions as well. at least thats how others have done it from what ive seen
ann a lot of interviewers do, actually. Take ellen for suppose. When she knows the times up she just goes in with the final quick question or just something regarding what the celebs are promoting and thats it its over
are you talking about ellen degeneres? thats a bit different when its for tv lol. im talking about this sort of interviews that are for youtube/radio. ive watched plenty of interviews and ive seen this happen many times so its not like hes the only one. you said it as if hes the only one to continue, which is not the case. surely there are some who will wrap it up quickly, but zachs not the only one to continue
ann as far as i've seen, he's the only one who's extended it this much after the time's up, there may be others, sure, but i havent come across them. as of yet.

I will never get over how Namjoon looked when the interviewer spoke about their songs at the beginning of the video with utmost sincerity and shock...he really did appreciate it so much. My heart ❤️ so humble, he’ll never know just how much their music touches people...

I feel so sorry for Zach, he just wanted to talk on a professional and relevant level in which BTS would be comfortable and thankful for but people were pressuring him to hurry up. However, interviewers who ask the same thing over and over again and don’t actually know anything about BTS, their music or their morals are given 10 minutes for interviews...
Zach! ARMY support you and thank you for your respect towards BTS and we are so happy that BTS are so comfortable and easy going when you interview them☺️
I feel like Zach and Liam are the only interviewers who truly love what BTS stands for, not just because they're famous or trending. Not only that, but you could tell how excited RM is, and the look of "Wow, he likes us" on Suga's face with his smirk tells a lot. Thank you Zach! I know you didn't have time, but everyone knows you are the real OG

Zach has a real appreciation for his guests. He treats them as musicians before they are celebrities. He interviews with a sincere interest and such respect, and he asks out of complete humility. Serious respect for Zach
I don't even know if there are interviewers in Korea that ask them these questions - questions that really go into how they make music and their inspirations, their low times and show who they really are as people

zach is seriously so good. if there are any western artists youre slightly interested in i highly suggest you watch them frm zach as well. so good, i end up watching interviews with celebs i dont even care for bc i get more indepth knowledge about them instead of just the public image they have in the media
I love that this was so personal! RM talked fear and anxiety around the album's success or failure, let Zach in on his creative process, the group's growth and development in experimenting with different genres, and you could just see his face LIGHT UP with the signed shirt for UNICEF idea! Honestly, that was above and beyond! Not only does Zach demonstrate that he KNOWS what difference BTS is trying to make, but he UNDERSTANDS and EMPATHIZES with them to the degree that he wants to ACTIVELY HELP with their cause... Damn. QUALITY.
Zach's interviews are always the best in my opinion. He does his research and doesn't ask repetitive questions. i always enjoy watching his interviews.

I really love how comfortable Namjoon is in this interview. And how he seems to actually WANT to answer these questions. Right off the bat, the first question wasn’t, Collabs? Favorite thing in America? Favorite body part? (To the last example:... Really?) He jumped right into what ARMY wants to know. He seems to be the only interviewer smart enough to do his research... Or maybe he’s the only one that cares enough to try. We ARMY and BTS, I’m sure, really appreciate it. :)

From what I've seen, Zach appears to be a good person, but I cannot find any information about that signed shirt. Was anyone able to verify that the shirt was sold, how much it sold for, and if the money actually went to the UNICEF campaign?
Zach is superior to any other interviewers!! the fact that he actually listened to the album and looking at the lyric translations. Namjoon looked so genuinely touched and he really loved that. great interview!! and the way Zach kept getting annoyed when they were telling him to wrap up the interview lol

This interview is definately one of the best interviews that I've seen BTS attend. Zach asks good questions and doesnt make them feel uncomfortable in ANY way. This interview overall wasnt awkward like most other interviews. You can see that joonie enjoyed talking to Zach and its really sad that they rushed this interview despite it being one of the good ones. The boys were also quiet comfortable around him!
You really did good job. I often get bored if the interviews ask the same questions and RapMon has to try to answer them over and over again with the same content but using different words!!!Poor thing!!!

Okay not only were they interrupted so quickly, they interrupted a freaking ENGLISH VERSION OF NAMJOON'S-WISE-WORD PHILOSOPHY CLASS WHYYYYY. I hate how the repetitive irrelevant dry ass interviews were like 10 minutes long and here we have a freaking interview like this and they were rushed.

I'm amazed by how engaging Zach is. He is truly so genuine and personal with his questions and the boys were so comfortable and you could see how much Namjoon appreciated this interview. Thank you so much Zach for being an amazing interviewer.

In their first interview, Namjoon was so thankful that Zach asked insightful questions and mentioned their unicef campaign, he literally said he was the only person who’d asked about it so far and he said thanks so many times. I really want to see an hour long interview with him.
Why was Zach only given a couple minutes with BTS, despite being the best and most in-tune interviewer they've had, while some of the most disinterested and repetitive interviews and interviewers got so long with them? Zach asks the questions that matter, like about UNICEF and about their hard work, not what they like best about themselves and who they want to collab with. Zach, army love you, no, we purple you and respect you so much for the effort you give for our boys.Thank you so much, please keep doing what you're doing. I never knew being a good interviewer was a talent, but your interviews have proven me wrong xx
i think they all pretty much had about 5 minutes. or then zach was just added to the list last minute and didnt have as much time as others. maybe if they have time and zach gets in contact with them they can do a full length interview (30-40 minutes) when they are on their tour or something
ann oh I hope so! A full length interview is needed with him, at this stage! Just...the other ones paint them in such a bad light, to western media and such. They're so bored with all the repetition, even when they try to hype it up. They look like six helpless chickens following their awkward leader around. It just annoys me, they're so intelligent and interesting, but they look so bad in other interviews. We need more Zach's in the world!
you might wanna read jj Ryans comments on twitter about this. bighit might actually be partially at fault for the bad interviews and repetitive questions.. dont know how zach asked questions nobody had asked before if bighit really does give them the questions they are allowed to ask.

Zach did say something is coming this summer with the guys so we will just have to wait for that but we can only hope it's a full interview.
*I love how Zach prepares himself when it comes to jotting notes down and making sure that every detail it organized. It's things like this that makes a good interview.*
*You know hearing the same old boring question such as "who's your celebrity?" or "do you have girlfriend". That's what ticks me off the most because it just doesn't make since. It's very irrelevant to the situatuon. Just like Liam, Zach was ready to interview the boys just from study the info that he look for to getting to know the boys better. This is why I have so much respect for this.*
And clearly it shows, Liam & Zach both manage to get the boys more involved/comfortable, and it goes from being more than just work, into actually enjoying a conversation with someone.

You can clearly see they're happy that they didnt get asked shit like ''Favorite american actress'' or some bullshit. Im really happy they got to experience what a devoted interviewer seems like, not everyone is about body parts and Hollywood crushes

i realized he gave a pretty long answer when the translator was there with them and I just had a thought that the boys may be staying quiet bc they dont want to give Namjoon the added burden of translating their answers too (bc today they dont have the earpieces so no translator)
that could be true, especially when suga gets deep. and i find that namjoon is better at translating their answers just because he knows where they're coming from lol

Still the best interviewer. I was so relieved when I saw this interview in my recommended. The fact that you took time to listen to their album and understand it before asking them questions, means so much. You can tell that Namjoon is relieved that he doesn't have to answer the same old questions again (if you watch other interviews, they always ask the same things and Namjoon looks mildly irritated that he has to answer those same questions over and over again, which is understandable.)
i think the fact that hes the one doing the talking is also tiring. the repetive questions wouldnt feel so bad if someone else could answer every now and then but its always him..

I really wish that in the future when they come to America, LIAM and ZACH could get hour long exclusive interviews with them. They both do it so differently yet they both do it so well and are very likeable. They both do research about them, are enthusiastic and think about their work from a personal POV. Liam is like a new bff who loves u and cares about you and supports you as best as he can just so you could have a good time & Zach is like that serious classmates who genuinely respect u and your work thus wants to discuss your work in depth with u and makes you feel so appreciated. Not to mention RM seems to hit off well with both of them. Dear Bighit & ARMY, can we make this happen? Make them their exclusive interviewer?
i think a good way to start would be to get bts to do zachs radio show. he normally does 30-40 minute interviews in his studio. so army could try to get bighit and zach (i mean i think he would be obviously down for it lol) make that happen when they on their tour in new york (i think zachs studio is there). after seeing the success of that (if they would be able to add korean subs as well) they could easily let zach do longer interviews with them possibly
I think that's a great idea but apparently i've heard that their schedule for 2018 & 2019 is already full. so unless thay had previously made plans for that i don't see it happening soon.
well their schedule being full might mean that if they have a show on that day its full. and im sure if they wanted to, they could squeeze a 30 minute interview to one of the days of the show there. just bc their schedule is full for the year, doesnt mean their every day has been timed by the hour. they have day offs. they might make a 30 minute interview on their day off if armys request it and try to make it happen. amd tbh i dont think their 2019 is full they cant really book stuff for 1 and a half years in advance, not realistic. they might have the big picture done but definitely not everything

zach you are one of best interviewers period, but with bts its so much more than that. you have a bond with them and its so comfortable and amazing to watch. thank you for asking the deeper questions and taking time to get to know the boys. it truly means a lot, you always do an outstanding job !! i hope they can stop by your studio at some point so you can talk to them without being rushed

Zack is probably the only entertainment interviewer (edit: in America) that ask good questions, do his research, and let the artists he interviews be comfy and open up to him, like any actual reporters should do. He treats them as humans and not just like some robot that passes from celeb to celeb as many as possible.. I hope that Zack can get to do podcasts with BTS.. surely that’ll be amazing to watch!

right zach sang is literally the only interviewer that asks meaningful and interesting questions (that i know of) instead of asking “who do you want to collaborate with” or “what do you like to do in the usa” 50 times. it’s tired. zach asks questions that we actually care about. those interviews where they say that army asked the questions have to be lying bc why would we want to know their favorite american food for the 100th time.
I love Zach, and I think he should have a chance to talk to BTS for a much longer time; other interviewers got a longer time but tend to ask silly questions like “who’s your celebrity crush?”, instead of taking their time and asking about their albums or their other works.

he has his own show and he does 30-40 minute interviews with the artists. (just did one with charlie puth and he said that zach always ask such good questions) so if bts could pop into his studio while they are on tour for example, maybe that could happen.
That would be soooo good. I have such a need for a good, deep interview. I get that most people only have a couple of minutes to ask questions, and maybe they get a list from management, but I really wanted to never hear 'who do you want to collaborate with' ever again. If we could have this guy instead of most of the other interviews, I would be soooo grateful.
yep hes one of the best in the game. armys should arrange something (maybe after all the other voting streaming stuff is over for a while lol) and try to get bighits/bts attention to the possible interview so they could make it happen. im sure zach would be down for it, he has so much to ask always.
