After 28th Jan you will have 50 days to get your result as per the Algoma refund policy. You may get on 29th Jan and may not get till 30th March. So, some risk is there.

He is right the currency gets converted into USD. It sounds complicate but you end up paying same amount as the numerical USD will be less than CAD
