That home in Colorado is amazing. I think the reason it's been for sale for about 20 years is that it's about 35 miles from Denver. I suppose anyone that could afford it would much rather be closer to the city. But it is beautiful. I lived in Denver for forty years and I honestly do love that home.
Fascinating listings. These offer beautiful ways to live, however they are so far out of reach for 99.999% of the population it’s all just pure fantasy for all but just a select handful of people. I’ve always wondered what it would take to accumulate that which it would take in order to acquire such properties while reasonably young enough in life to still enjoy it before you die of old age! You get the impression that things like old money inheritance, sheer massive abundance of good luck, a convergence of positive factors all falling place at the right time & place amongst the right people & circumstances and plain old hard work, innovation, invention, drive, relentless ambition, passion and drive can get you into such lofty planes of high living. It certainly takes courage, bravery, boldness, a competitive nature.

I look at these and ask my self WHY? If I had Musk's or Bezo's money I wouldn't spend it on these overly done houses that say look at me look at me---They are beautiful properties and have lovely grounds but way too much to think and worry about
It's fun listening to these things being talked up by copywriters who think I'm blind and ignorant. My favourite so far is "infuses technology with rooms". It gets better. "Magnificently refined rooms" and at the same time we're looking at that badly proportioned, insensitive hole cut in the wall for the sole purpose of saying "Look, muh booze". I love how you kept reading the advert when it kited off into "not actually about this house" shit. Wait, the Colorado place doesn't have a gourmet kitchen? Not that any of the others actually did have remotely good kitchens.

Sometimes using the same bathroom gets kinda old so you need to change things up 🤷🏽♂️ different bathroom everyday for weeks
