I've managed to finish Atiesh on my Bloodelf Mage 4 days before was Naxx-40 removed in patch 3.0.2 from retail servers at the end of TBC. So it may be one of the last completed Atiesh stafs of retail WoW. We were doing weekly retro pugs at that time, and I was really nervous as I needed 4 splinters at the start od last raid and got 40th one from Patchwerk in last wing with 3 bosses left with possible drop :) Also got that raid on the video "Last Night In Naxxramas" but it sadly got muted on YT bcs of music used in there.
@4:15 "You could easily get a better one" . Not really. It only gets resplaced by Zardoom from illidan or mh + oh from Archimonde since when raiding atleast as warlock for example , you'd be in caster grp giving 33 sp to 5 players total. Still BiS for 2 whole tiers , which is still respectable , obviously not as good as thunderfury from ph1 vanilla lasting to ph1 tbc + but still good.
