The three part harmonies on Sing My Loves are fantastic. Nate is incredible and the best fill in for Caleb possible.

Proving that Cave in is the best band of this whole genre and beyond. The tones, Brodsky’s voice, songs from early 2000 that still hold up. Fuck they rule!!!

RIP Caleb..... :,( ...nate honors him with his bass....and crushing voice. I thought we'd never see this band on stage again. this makes me very happy.
God it's insane how much Nate sounds like Caleb. If you just listen to any performances he has with them you wouldn't even know it's a different person, almost like he isn't gone for a little bit.

He sounds different a lot in my ears. Caleb sounded more powerful for me and kinda deeper. If you compare them on records the difference is even more clear. I liked Nates vocals on "Heavy Pendulum" aswell but Caleb sounded better for me personally.
What can I say? Audio and video are great, the set-list is top-notch, the performance is amazing. Once again, many thanks to hate5six for uploading so many awesome live shows.

A stone cold stunner! Thanks for bringing me a lil joy on this dreary morning. Brodsky was nailing those vocals as usual. The whole band was on. And no one could really replace Caleb but Nate is doing an outstanding job
Totally agree about Caleb and o think Nate is the only option for a fill in that is like a brother to the band! I have Nate’s pickups on my bass and use him and Caleb riffs for sound check a lot!
@@jasontaylor5950 true. Nate is the only real option. He handles the Caleb vocals really well too. I was pleasantly surprised. Not that I thought he couldn't do it. But I didn't know it'd be this close. I'm very curious to see how this plays out in the future. If they end up doing more touring and recording. Also those pickups must be nasty!

Haven't watched this since it came out. Caleb was a special dude & inspired a ton of musicians (along with the rest of Cave-In). For me personally I definitely rocked out my $75 bass like I was Caleb a few times over the years & there isn't a time that I don't think about him when I pick up my bass. Jupiter was a life changing album for me. Everything was just in its right place in my life when that album came out. I've had the privilege of seeing Cave In live on multiple occasions around St. Louis. I moved to Massachusetts years ago & while walking home one day I realized my neighbor was Stephen Brodsky, I was shocked. It was a fanboy moment that I regret. He was on the phone & just stopped, turned around & asked him if he was Stephen Brodsky.... I interrupted him mid phone call & felt like a jackass. I would never do that but after moving 1400 miles across country & seeing him was a shock. Still get embarrassed about it.
I saw Cave In at Saint Vitus about a year ago, and as soon as I walked into the venue, Brodsky was less than 5 feet away from me. Totally froze up. Couldnt even get out a hello...
That’s one excellent job in not only performance, but in sound mixing.
Give that sound guy my stimulus check.
Seriously one of the greatest half hour sets I've ever watched. My only wish is that it were longer.

Honestly that's probably explicitly because they quickly dropped the more hardcore influenced stuff and he didn't have to do relentless touring with that vocal style, prominently. He does some wacky shit with Mutoid Man so it's great he's been able to hold onto his voice so well.

Last time I got a chance to see them was in California back in the late 90's when they refused to play any of their "metal" stuff. They actively mocked anyone who even mentioned it. Glad they eventually saw the error of their ways. Great upload, they're always fantastic live.

Tid the season that year was the fucking greatest, Cave In, Ghost Face Killa, Glassjaw... 2019 was fucking awesome. Every set was insanely great. And buffalo was great 👍 I'd drive across the entire country for that shit.
