You should go. I went twice, 2019 and this year 2022 in August, just returned 3 days ago! During summer it was hot, prepared hats, umbrella, light clothes, sometimes it rained. If you want to go on tour to different country, it starts from July to August only during kids off schools. We went to Switzerland as well . It was beautiful there, but cost of living was so expensive! One plate of noddle, in Paris was about 13 Euro, there was 25 France! Their currency is France higher than Euro. Many things to see in Paris. During winter by Christmas, the light was so spectacular! Or you can stay in the hotel at Champs Alyssee, down stair are all shopping stores! We walked there, to Eiffel Tower, Norte Dames, Louvres, back to hotel we got taxi. If you go, you will be happy to see the difference, and you are so expertly in video you will get good scenes to share with everyone! There are two top roofs that you can see Paris. One is in the 7th floor of Lafayette shopping center, it is free. Another one at Montpasnasse on the 56th floor, got a better view, cost 20 Euro per person to get up there. The view is so wonderful. People eat outside so they can smoke. Inside the restaurants, many do not have a/c! One bad thing during summer ! And some hotels do not have a/c either. Before booking the hotel during summer check to see if they have a/c. You should try!
