Hey Mindy, It's me , Donna. Honey, once again, you did it. I love the technique and the final cards. So simple and yet, so you. Once again, thank you for sharing 🙏. Can't wait to try this technique with my embossing folders.
Beautiful cards!!! Love this technique! When you added the water to the stardust, it seems like the mica/glitter were having a dance party! Love watching the shimmery move! Laura
Beautiful cards. I just love these new 3D embossing folders, they give such amazing dimension. I really like the colors you used. I’ve still never tried inking an embossing folders. I definitely need to try it. I’ve seen a lot of people take the ink pad direct to the folder. It looks like you get a smoother blend though using a brayer. I will definitely give this a try! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration.
I really enjoy your videos... this one for some reason inspired me, probably because I have tons of embossing folders that are just sitting there...weekend project! Keep your videos coming!
Great video! Cards are just gorgeous! And where has that Liquid Stardust been all my life? Definitely need that. I love how you give us all the info we need and have all your supplies ready and are concise. Great voice too!!!
Beautiful cards! Do you think it would work if I lightly rubbed the ink pads across the embossing folder as I have allergy to rubber on the rollers? Thank you.
it's actually just a small piece of shelf liner. I picked up mine from Simon Says Stamp one time but can't remember what it's called which is why I didn't list it lol ... but it's really just shelf liner
Hi Mindy I have an embossing folder similar to the one you did pastel. How do you get the flowers to stay white and the background coloured like you did please. I tried it and the flowers were colored but I want them to stay white x
only what I showed in the video which is using a rubber brayer to apply the ink over the one side of the embossing folder. Not the raised side of the embossing folder but the indented side. The brayer helps skim over the open areas
It is a non-slick surface that is heat resistant. Slick on one side and a grip on the other so it doesn't slide around. Can be purchased separately or comes with the Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat.
scratch paper is pretty much just paper that's not really important to me lol. it can be copy paper or something you really didn't plan on doing anything with and won't mind it getting messy
It was good to see the same technique and products using different types of ink. Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Wow! Beautiful ❤❤❤!!!
Using a brayer. Great solution as I always get ink in the cracks. Thanks for that!
Glad to help
Amazing results for an embossing folder.
Thanks so much!

Thank you so much! I was never very successful taking the ink pad directly to the embossing folder - the brayer did the trick for me :-)
Do you need a brayer that's not soft, or will any brayer work?
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Thank you for showing us that softer colours do not necessarily have to be pastels if you are not a huge fan of them. 🤩
You're very welcome :-)

Beautiful , love them. :)
Thank you! 😊

That works too. I had just found i got better coverage with a brayer especially for those small areas between the dandelion heads.
At 1:38, what is that little black gripper pad under your ink pad? And where do I find one for myself? I didn't see it listed in your supplies list.
it's actually just a small piece of shelf liner. I picked up mine from Simon Says Stamp one time but can't remember what it's called which is why I didn't list it lol ... but it's really just shelf liner
@@MindyEggenDesign thank you so much for the detailed response Mindy.
LOL I also have only one sister, and we both say "You're my favorite sister!" all the time 😋
Love that!

@@MindyEggenDesign Done it with a brayer didn't work too well
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
What is a craft sheet? Thanks.

What is scratch paper? Is that the same as scrap paper?
