Hey Guys! Today's video is on all of the lists that I keep in my planner to stay organized. These are different lists that I keep in different sections so that I can stay on track. This is definitely an area where I will keep adding on....because I love creating lists! Do you have any lists that you keep in your planner?
You are teaching me so much. I am a full time working nurse and mom of a special needs 2 year old. My life was a disaster - and between you and the minimal mom, I finally feel my life coming together. I truly can't thank you enough. I listen to your videos while I am sitting at the computer working because your voice just calms me lol. You are so calm and collected with everything you need to do. Again, thanks :-)
Hi Alana, I started a transportation specific list. I put information on it like my VIN number, car make and model, license plate number, car insurance policy number and contact info, my driver's license number etc. At the bottom I have a "when did I last" list. It has rotate tires, oil changes, brakes, etc.
One of my favorite lists I love to keep is my Outfits. Work outfits Fall and Summer, and vacation outfits, and cruise outfits can call for a different vacation lists based on time of year and where we were cruising (pre Covid). Vegas is another location that requires a seperate list, because of the heat during the day and nice dinner locations in the evening. Outfit lists are great to have so when I do more shopping I can maybe look for a new top rather than both top and pants. I’m a sucker for linen pants but my list definitely keep me under control. It is a money saver. TFS

Apart from the most elegant TUL covers, one of the greatest things I've learnt from your videos is the simplicity of your documents. From planning to budgets to note taking, I appreciate the realness of a basic template or plain notepaper that is readily available where branded templates are not always shipped.
Great video with keeping lists in the catch-all! One of my lists is for my 2 dogs and 1 cat where I keep track of monthly supplements (flea/tick, heart guard), nail trim, washing their bedding, etc

Love this! I created a half sheet: on one side I keep my "drop dead must do" tasks in front of me all day. On the other side, I write down new events that need to be scheduled for the next day, week, or month. I used these lists for a few years and I just love them.
I'm a multiple Planner/journal lady too, it fills me with joy to have seperate & wonderful notebooks. I think you might have said this previously, 1 of the lists I update & transfer over to my weekly at a glance plan is Net Financial Position with a line each for, Debt, Savings, (then Savings -Debt total). Then also Expenditure & Savings to date for that month in line items (Retierment, Debt payments, Grocery, Wine, Other) & last line is amount left IN budget for Groceries. It's only 9 lines, but every day when I look at my weekly/daily plan its the almost the first thing I see so it gives me a huge sense of empowerment, to see debt go down, savings go up & to not blow the grocery budget - easy to do. It means I don't hve to pull out the budget book each day, which I probably wouldn't, & instead knowing my finances is now part of my daily routine - not just end of week/month money budget routine. Just like time blocking, & daily cleaning it's now incorproated as a habit. The other list is a journal/planning ideas, sometimes I have to sit with an idea from someone for a while before I know how I can use it/adapt it. But I hate forgetting these little gems, so I keep that list in a TN in my journal/planner & add to it, draw out potential new spreads/page set ups, then I can always refer back to it, & see how my journaling/planning has changed & developed.
You inspire me! I live about 20 mins from the falls and i would suggest you wait until the canadian side is open to Americans again. The US side is nice, but there is more to do(especially with kids) on the Canadian side!
Nice! I have a medical list with all my conditions, drug allergies and current meds, another page of all my surgeries and doctors. Another list is car maintenance, sports teams I follow and upcoming schedule (noting W and L). Pet info, a group I’m in I’m in charge of making sure we have a hostess each month, etc.
I work a guide dog so I list his medications and appointments. I also did this when we had pets in our home. My vet saw this organization and asked if he could be my dog 😃
Your guidance is so helpful. I only kept a “To Do” list...However, I’m finding that I need to go a little deeper into the details as well as keep track of reoccurring maintenance and tasks around the house. Thank you for the inspiration!

Hi Ms.OM....this might be off topic but can you go over your nail/manicure routine? Is it part of a beauty/self-care routine/planner? You have such beautiful, elegant hands but your nails are not too long as to be impractical. This may sound a little shallow but I'm a server and I use my hands a lot, obviously, and always try to balance looking pulled together and attractive while maintaining a neat, professional appearance. Since we(my fellow servers) wear all black, people tend to notice the hands immediately. I feel that having neat, clean, trimmed nails and hands is a small but important indicator of how one approaches his/her job, especially in the restaurant industry. Of course, I use all your recommendations and tricks to keep track of my tips and finances, especially since I get "paid" daily and the amount can fluctuate. Thank so much!!....btw, I LOVED this video. I'm a true Virgo and lists are one of my fave pastimes lol.
Hello, Alayna. After watching this video yesterday, I went to a local store today and bought my first disc bound vertical planner. Looking forward to experimenting with it. I had used Month-At-A-Glance for years then got a new position and needed something more detailed for scheduling. Bought my first Franklin Planner last October and it worked alright, but your videos have inspired me to try disc. Thank you.

I have a list of important work dates like training, classes, test, new system and/or process implementation dates. I also have lists of affirmations, quotes, online orders, and possible planner changes for the future (like when did I last 😂).
I have a “seasonal chores” list so that we remember to clean or repair home exterior and yard items before winter comes (and interior chores to complete during winter rather than during our busy summers.)

I try to keep a list of potluck dishes I make, so when someone invites us over for dinner or to a bigger gathering, I can pick something off the list and make it.
do you have a walk through on your meal organizer notebook? I'm currently putting together a cookbook/ food notes planner. I use a discbound for my planner and I like the idea of being able to transfer between the two notebooks with a weekly meal plan, etc
Perhaps a silly question, but I am confused as to how you are able to remove and replace the planner pages back into your planner so easily? Thanks for another great video!

LOVE the packing list ~ in the video you mentioned you would add a link for it, but I can't find it. Am I missing something? Also the cleaning lists (daily/weekly) and THANK YOU for the 'it doesn't have to be pretty' message as well. I'm new to journaling and get caught (procrastinate???) with the stickers and tapes and end up not using the planner at all. Your channel is truly helpful.

It’s because the planner is what we called “disc bound” they are bound by discs that allow you to remove and replace pages easily. ☺️
