So glad you covered this! For the most part I LOVE the renovations! The other rooms were soooo dated. I think we would miss having a true table to eat at. But I guess you could put those stools next to the coffee table. Would feel a little kiddie table-ish 😂 but I still love the rooms and I would for sure stay in them. I love the boardwalk location so much ❤
Yesss, anything feels like an upgrade from how dated these rooms were 😅🙌🏼 And agreed, the table missing is not ideal 🤪 But overall, it’s a huge improvement!
Keep coming back to this video over and over as we are staying in a deluxe studio here next month. Just have to shout you out and thank you for posting vids like these to help make picking the right place to stay much easier!
Thanks Bekah! You do such a great job with all of your videos; they're a joy to watch. The ledge on the other side of the bed is a gamechanger! That little feature is so important to us!
Boardwalk dvc is one of my favs for location, especially. It was definitely in need of a refurbishment. It's definitely an improvement, but I feel like they missed the mark with storage & the bathroom area.
Def would stay there with that view. Would need to be up top to cut down on noise. Love being around the action on the BW however. Thanks for the valuable info
The rooms were very worn and dated before so I like the clean feel. But… still sad to see Disney moving away from the original theming of some resorts.
I noticed that there weren't any glasses or coffee mugs just plastic/paper.-I'm glad I watched this to acquire that information. You did a great job! Going down in November for MVMCP!
Cute music choice!! We stayed boardwalk last year and loved the convenience! Going to stay again in feb 2025! What room did you guys have? Maybe I will request the same room!
When I'm up at an off-time, I use the light on the little vanity mirror. Gives me the light I need to see without being so bright to distract light sleepers ;) But I am sad there's no true table / desk area and no ceiling fan :(
I think I miss a true table too much. But I do think I would put the stools up against the “naked” wall to the left of the TV so you feel like the entire space is used/has a purpose.
I thought the same thing, I missed having a traditional table with 2 chairs. And that corner did seem empty 🤷🏼♀️ I feel like they could have fit a least a single chair there 🤪
Hi Bekah, quick question: Is this a preferred view or a boardwalk view? If not a boardwalk view, do you know what the difference is between this and a preferred view?
@@BekahHart In trying to rent through a DVC website (your videos are very helpful) a Boardwalk Studio is listed with preferred view and not one of the 3 categories. Any idea how Preferred fits into those 3?
Is noise an issue at the boardwalk? I booked a boardwalk view room and wondering if late night noise might be an issue when sleeping? Since I know some places are open late there
Thank you for a lovely tour. We are staying soon but couldn’t get boardwalk only garden/pool was available. Did you notice how far along they are on those studios? 🤞for a renovated studio. Thanks for your help.
I think the refurb looks great. Very similar to the lovely Saratoga rooms which we stayed at in January. I assume all of the rooms have been renovated?
The noise was not an issue on the 4th floor 🙌🏼 Of course with the door open, you could hear everything, but once the door was shut, I would have never known how much nightlife was right below us.
Beautiful room! But the fact there is no way to close a door or curtain to get ready would be hard with little ones! Mine wakes up at the first drop of sunlight!
Here's our hack - a blackout window curtain paired with 3M hooks. Pop it up between sleeping area and kitchenette, works like a charm! We've done it at Pop Century, AKL, and Boardwalk, no issues!
why did they take away table and chairs? this is the 2nd or 3rd refurb i have seen that removed the table. We like to eat at the table, sit and work at the table, throw stuff on the table. Its almost a deal breaker for me. Also a DVC kitchenette with no freezer? why?

I like that they put drawers by the tv the pull down beds take up such valuable storage space in other dvc studios
Agreed! I do feel like they utilized that space well 👌🏼

Woo hoo! I’ve been waiting for this video. I’m staying in a villa studio next month and cannot wait.
Boardwalk dvc is one of my favs for location, especially. It was definitely in need of a refurbishment. It's definitely an improvement, but I feel like they missed the mark with storage & the bathroom area.
Wish they had a table and chairs. Thanks for your review! Really appreciate! 😊
Going to need to stay here soon!! We have never done a deluxe studios DVC before!
Fun! I will be in one of those rooms in 2 weeks for a fun 3 day weekend with my son !
Def would stay there with that view. Would need to be up top to cut down on noise. Love being around the action on the BW however. Thanks for the valuable info
The view is awesome!
So beautiful!!!
The rooms were very worn and dated before so I like the clean feel. But… still sad to see Disney moving away from the original theming of some resorts.
That’s definitely been the biggest concern with this renovation, so you’re not alone!
Booked a split stay in December. Happy to see this! Thanks!
So exciting! These rooms are beautiful! ✨
The rooms look so cute! We're doing a GF/Boardwalk split stay in May and I can't wait!
I did the same split last year! So great!
I noticed that there weren't any glasses or coffee mugs just plastic/paper.-I'm glad I watched this to acquire that information. You did a great job! Going down in November for MVMCP!
I will be there in Dec. I love it! Thank you for the heads up!
Sooo cute! I cannot wait to stay here. Do you know if all do the deluxe villas are done yet? We will be there in June.
Cute music choice!! We stayed boardwalk last year and loved the convenience! Going to stay again in feb 2025! What room did you guys have? Maybe I will request the same room!
She said it was room 4029! I think I might request the same room for our April 2025 trip 😊
Yes! This was such a great room 🙌🏼 Definitely worth the longer walk from the elevator in my opinion.
@BekahHart the view is fantastic 👌 hopefully they fix the reading lamp this year 😂 thanks for the video and response bekah!

I love the refurb, but Mark Alan hates the rooms now! 😂
Hahah love and hate seems to be how everyone is feeling about these rooms 😂 There’s no in between lol.

Hi Bekah, quick question: Is this a preferred view or a boardwalk view? If not a boardwalk view, do you know what the difference is between this and a preferred view?
This is a boardwalk view ☺️ There are 3 view types for studios, standard view, garden/pool view, or boardwalk view
@@BekahHart In trying to rent through a DVC website (your videos are very helpful) a Boardwalk Studio is listed with preferred view and not one of the 3 categories. Any idea how Preferred fits into those 3?
@@TritonPlz if preferred is the highest room category option, I would assume that would give you a Boardwalk view ☺️

I believe the majority of the pool/garden view rooms are complete 🙌🏼 The standard rooms have yet to be finished.
Did you have views of the fireworks?
Yes! 🙌🏼
I think the refurb looks great. Very similar to the lovely Saratoga rooms which we stayed at in January. I assume all of the rooms have been renovated?
The room is beautiful but what about the noise level? I am always scared of the Boardwalk getting too loud a night with a little one sleeping.

Are all DVC studios at Boardwalk updated?
They should be getting close!
Beautiful room! But the fact there is no way to close a door or curtain to get ready would be hard with little ones! Mine wakes up at the first drop of sunlight!
A downside for sure 😬

Feels very meh to me, some of it feels nice and some looks very cheap. Really not feeling cohesive to me.

to encourage people to spend money on buying food, instead
I like it but just don’t like that there is no table
