Hey, Came to the channel via Reddit. +1 subscriber for PSVR2 content. Video is really good and your voice over is top notch. I'm going to nit-pick here, but I would also have liked to see a shorter version of the video. I appreciate how in depth it is, but it also requires 20 minutes of commitment that we don't always have available. I think this is great for an extended review! A shorter format with the great, good vs bad/awful would also be great.
Yeah I agree, it’s pretty damn long haha. If I have time over the next couple of weeks I might try and put a shorter version together. I typically like to keep these at like 8-10 minutes.
Thank you! Comments like this are great! Let’s me know I’m on the right path and that my effort is worth it. I strive to tell ya’ll about the game and avoid saying stuff like “it’s good” and I avoid things that feel like “trust me I play a lot of games so my opinion matters” kind of statements.
Another excellent review. I appreciate that you provide good detail in your video review as well as post in PSVR subreddit. Came here to give a view and like. Keep up the good work!
This game looks really good. It’s amazing how a 4 person dev team can produce a game of this quality with very little bugs compared to AAA studios who release bug infested games. Kudo to the devs. Great review too!
does the game support DLSS and how does it run on a low/midrange PC (RTX 3060) or Laptop (RTX 3070). This is very important to know, since not every VR player does have a high end gaming PC.
@@bmackVR thanks. I bought it and it looks stunning, even on medium/high settings. The game indeed seems to be very optimized for VR, so i can run at 72Hz native or 120Hz with Virtual Desktop SSW turned on on my RTX 3070 Laptop. Even higher resolutions up to GodLike seem to be possible. With Anti Aliasing turned off the game looks sharp and aliasing effects do not look that bad. With DLSS it would certainly look and perform even better, so maybe this can be added in a future update.
"close one eye to enable the scope" that's really clever. Makes me wish my PSVR 2 that I've used for 5 freaking hours WORKED! F U IN THE A SONY and your garbage warranty! (They replace your faulty PSVR2+controllers with someone else's used "repaired" PSVR2+controllers) Thus, when I look down the head set loses tracking, the controllers drift all over, annnnd the battery works for about 20 min.
Big shoutout to the DEVS for supplying me with the review keys! 🐐Question TIME! Do you like PHYSICS based combat in VR?👍
Yes. Love it. That's what makes it feel like VR to me.
@@EgoEmissary I like this style of physics over something like boneworks. I like a bit of game polish to kinda smooth it out

absolute gem of a game, would have been my VR game of the year if it came out in 2024.
It’s made a VERY strong case for 2025. We’ll see what the next 11 months hold.
@@bmackVR yeah they set the bar high for sure
Great review as always! Game seems very impressive. We're getting so many nice games lately
Yeah we really are! I’m kind of jealous of the people who aren’t all caught up like I am lol
Excellent review, thanks for this
Thank you! This one was pretty exhausting to make haha, it ran a little longer than what I like to normally make, but I just had more to say.
You seriously deliver some of the best game reviews. Keep up the good work and your channel is going to get big.

I appreciate posts like this! They let me know I’m doing something right haha
Thanks
This is an amazing game❤
Glad you are liking it as well

Thanks blue! I’m glad to see that others are having the same smooth experience.
@ wow!
Ok damn it I just read that was not true lol
@ oh well. They still have done a great job.
So far, I honestly think the quality of this game is better than behemoth.
Oh I agree for sure. Behemoth has better boss fights and some really amazing scenes, but the moment to moment gameplay on Arken Age is way better.

I don’t think it has DLSS, but you will be fine with a 3060. This game is so optimized you can probably do medium to high settings.

Wow that’s garbage
Far from the best
What would you place before it for 2025 at least for right now?
I know it's only January, but if this isn't my GOTY, we're in for an amazing year.
Hell yeah man!
