      y'all don't understand the haggle.. the final price was ~50 bucks sure, but they probably got the watches for ~25. It's like Kohl's, they start you at an absurdly high price so that when you haggle them down you feel like you're getting a hot deal. Unless you know the going market price for the fake you're haggling for and somehow talk them down to that price, they're still winning.

    As someone who's been to China a few times, and done some haggling, tourists should start by offering 1/20th or 1/17th of the price they're given.
    This guy was getting solid starting prices from some people (Yeezy guy), but got ripped off on the Jersey and Rolex. You can get a jersey for 30-50 kuai, and a fair price for fake rolexes is about 100-150 kuai. Most vendors won't sell the watches to non-fluent white people for less than 250-350RMB because they assume the difference of 15usd isn't that notable for them, and don't want to set a standard for lower prices in videos that will go online or for foreigners who might tell their friends and family.

    Trying to sell a fake rolex for close to $500 in China is hilarious. I bought a fake rolex in NYC's China town for 20-25 dollars. The watch surprisingly worked for over a decade. This was 20 years ago. Found it 5 years or so ago and pushed in the mechanism and it started working again. I am sure if i changed the battery for a few bucks today it would still work. $500 is insane since my knockoff was 20-25 US dollars in America. That watch is probably 1 dollar to make sells to these markets in bulk for 2-3 dollars each.

    • @sew_gal7340
      @sew_gal7340 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Really not, if it is a rolex that is made with the highest materials it will be around 400 dollars to 500 dollars for a fake. I own a few real ones and have bought fakes where you cannot tell the difference even if you take it to a reputable watch dealer.
