Rachel plz tell me on which passport should I apply? I am dual national British citizen. So should I apply on British passport as a local student or my other passport as an international student? On which passport I am more likely to get admission? And if I apply on British passport then can I take calsses with my friends because they will be applying as international students.
I’m not sure about it, but the tuition fees is not same for local and international so consider that too. You can study together at the same class with your other international students no matter which passport you use. But for more clarification, you should email admission team. Good luck 🍀

Hi can I ask what happens during welcome week? Are there any classes that are important that I have to attend? ill be attending freshers week 1 day late this year. Any repercussions?
Hello. I just saw your comment and so sorry for my late response. There is no classes on welcome week. It’s all societies far and fun stuff happening around the campus. The actual teaching start after the welcome week so it’s okay if you missed a day or two. Welcome to UoM btw ☺️

I am so confused because I want to have classes along my friends not separately 😔. It would be great help if you could suggest me. Does international students and local students study together at university of Manchester?
Yep, international student and local student study together at the university. We’re in same class, same lectures and seminars. But the tuition fees vary. It’s only around £9250 per year for local but £25,000 per year for international students.
