Thank you, Ron. Wow, the Flower Drum, with owner, Ray Lukich, was one of the most popular country music restaurant and lounges to patronize. Let's see,,,,about 3 lifetimes ago?
I still got a picture of us together when I met you in Sam Ash Music in Rivergate 👍🏼. Thanks for being a nice humble guy. You said you don’t perform in public but I got a little Archie bunker out of you lol. My dad is a big fan though and he was tickled pink about it. He’s in really bad health right now and probably in his last days so I’m looking for your videos to cheer him up. I wish there was a full show for him to watch posted on here. He’s a marine combat veteran and been having flashbacks lately so he really needs some comedy to divert his mind away
That was great lol. I need to go to a show sometime. I met you once in Sam Ash music in Goodletsville while looking at the acoustics. Even got my picture with ya but never saw a show. You told me no performing in public but I managed to get just a second of Archie bunker lol.
Johnny..........I don't do any shows in Nashville, TN, but I drop in (unannounced) at John A's with my son and daughter, where I usually get up and do a few voices/songs/jokes with the house band. I believe you are from Kentucky, so perhaps we'll run into each other at John A's, although my visits are few and far between. Thank you for your comments.
Johnny Counterfit, I was informed last week about one of your dear friends, Gene Breeden that he had 3 strokes, and I have an address, and sent him a card, as he feels so isolated and alone, and a friend of mine sent me an address, to send him cards, so I drew up a handmade card, and posted it on Thanksgiving, if you want to contact me, just post a comment, 👇
Actually, my date shot this video on my iPhone, during a private show, and (it) contains NO canned laughter; I uploaded it directly from my phone. But, thank you for responding.
Johnny Counterfit Haha I'm sorry to have assumed! There was one guy with this repetitive laughing and my brain automatically thought that. Brilliant none the less!!!
Add to that comments about our booming economy, increased positive consumer sentiment, record low unemployment, and how Trump is keeping his campaign promises would make a difficult presentation indeed! ;-)
@@Dempubl Yup, how Mexico will pay for the wall, how shutting down the government, how consumer confidence sank last month, how children are kept in cages and how secret meetings are held with Vlad Putin should make a great second verse ;-) Oh forgot about the weird sword dance and stroking the lighted orb with Saudi princes but that can be a third verse. :-) I know you sing to a certain audience that believes certain things so leaving out all the above is understandable.
@@thomaswright5492 I sing to everyone, and try to make everyone laugh, no matter their political bend, and no matter how uninformed, and or biased they may be; notice I haven't mentioned any side here? I will say, it's one particular side that always seems to be angry; again, no names or affiliations mentioned here, nor is it necessary.
@@Dempubl Glad to hear it. I enjoyed listening to your routine and would be interested in knowing how you would handle a President who really does think so highly of himself and his accomplishments. Seems to me that the Heartland audiences would not be too enthused if you were to poke fun at that. And I say this as a Nam veteran and a hunter and fisherman who found much of what Clinton did to be pretty disgusting, what G. W. Bush and Obama did to be naive at times and what the current resident of the White House has done in enriching himself and his family to be unethical.
@@thomaswright5492 Thank you for your replies. I always refrain from partisan political comedy, but I do enjoy grilling both sides of the aisle during my show, albeit gently. I try never to anger any audience member, but there will be one or two who occasionally object. To them I say, lighten up, it's just for fun.
It's great seeing you perform I remember you from hanging out in the Flower Drum in Portland Oregon back in the 80s

Bill and W. were good.
I hated the canned laughter at first, but it is actually makes this brilliant!

Would love to see him do Trump but the word salad and contradictions would foul up his performance.

I liked you till you called Monica a dog. But dogs are cute and loyal and are not judgmental. Cut that out of the act.
