Havent been on the freeway yet but previous owmer told me the mirrors shake a little at speed. Whats the fix for that? These mirrors are incredible btw. My favorite part of the truck besides my ramch hand fromt and rears and the 7.3 of course is fantastic 🎉
Good information/questions asked. A complete actual install video would more than likely generate more sales if it's as simple as you make it sound.. Any plans on making a video?
Anyone with the low mount swing mirrors can attest to how flimsy the stock sheet metal is. My ‘89 F Super Duty mirror hardware for the lower mounts bit the dust. Once that happens it isn’t long before the door skin will actually start to split close to the quarter window, had the same issue on a ‘78 F-350. If a door skin is already splitting at that spot, do you recommend these kits, or will the top weight complicate that situation? Very innovative product. Keep them coming!
I want to do this to my truck you guys should do an more in depth video I would like to purchase plates but a little hesitant I think an how to video would lead me to pull the trigger
Just found your video. Nice. Did this mirror have defrost in it? I have similar mirror and I want to add puddle lights/courtesy lights with the Ford logo on with the running lights. The logo lights are the type on Ebay that are installed usually through the door panel. My question is there enough clearance behind the Fisheye mirror to install these?
My steering wheel horn pad looks like that 😢. Center console lids are also a problem new finding parts. Please please please make a center console lid or like a tray that replaces the storage bin with lid mine is barely hanging on.
I really would like to put these mirrors on my 91/97 f350 ramp truck. It has the usual factory tow mirrors, and the driver door is cracking because the inner support failed. Mine has the power windows and the 97 switches with power mirror switch, so that much should be relatively doable. But I noticed that a lot of these mirrors have a heated option, which the factory ones never had. Is the heated mirrors fed directly from 12v or do we need some kind of "control box" to get that functionality? Unfortunately, I can't spare the time or money to take it out to your shop from north of Detroit, so I would be planning to do it myself or get a local body shop to do it when I get the truck repainted. But I know how nice it is to have heated mirrors, and want that functionality.
I'm thinking of doing this to my truck but I was wondering if it would work it's an 1987 f250 bit it should since it's the same body style could you give any pointers
When welding on the door, if there any paint touch-ups that need to be done (outside of proper slag control) From what I can gather, the mirror trim covers the welds?
What he says it true I got a 93 f150 and if I go over 80 and it’s windy I can hear the roof sound like someone’s walking in it or something hitting the roof
Hopefully I get an answer from someone. But does anyone know what grab bars those are been looking for those everywhere and can’t find them? Anyone know brand? Part number? Any guidance would be appreciated!
Can you use the plates on a 1975 c20. I'm tall and can't see my mirrors. They're too far back and I have to lean down to see. and Im not going with those west ones. Didn't do it for me and hate drilling mire holes. I already have to repair the existing ones.
We haven't tested fitment of the brackets on anything besides the 80-97 Ford F-Series and Bronco's. You're welcome to purchase a set and give it a go, but beyond that we don't have any knowledge or experience of them working on other vehicle applications.
I want to add 6.4 ford mirrors on my 7.3 to keep the ford part theme on it (looks the same as the duramax ones to me same shape) is there any videos or products for that??
We don't sell anything for the Ford mirrors. The Mounting bases for the Super Duty trucks are much too large and not flat. They will block almost the entire wing window on these trucks. We don't recommend it.
If a person has an OBS F series, can they send it to y’all to have something like this done or no? Also, from start to finish, how long does it take to get everything together?
Dalton, We work on customer trucks daily. Send us an email at services@obssolutions.net with your contact information and details about your truck and what you're looking to have done. We'd be happy to give you a quote!
These aren't power fold mirrors. You can get them with the heat option. It'd just need wired in with a switch. We use a late model Super Duty control switch for these when not equipped with oem power mirrors.
I looked into those mirrors for my 2022 1500 and last I checked, there weren’t any clone aftermarket mirrors made yet so the GM mirrors were well over $600
I need these on my truck wanna talk about blind spots I got a single cab long bed 92 f350 dually with a flat bed on it and wooden sides before I got truck it been in a wreck so they didn’t just replace the pass door they done both so they match And I guess there f150 doors bc it’s those tiny useless plastic mirrors on it and I can’t see nothing but my wooden bed sides can’t even get a glimpse at no back tires thank god my enclosed is six foot wide so wheel base same as truck 😂
Got the single plate ones not going to lie they work but they don’t really line up that good possibly I didn’t do it perfectly but they don’t really line up good
@Rider_2013_ Ford Mirrors have a much larger mounting base that would cover most of the wing window. That creates a big blind spot and looks very out of place on these trucks, in our opinion. The 88-98 GM Mirror base is much smaller as well as flat for a cleaner fit.
The mirror brackets must be lined up and mocked on the truck with mirrors for proper visibility. We're not sure yet how we could do it any other way and ensure a perfect install.
Please 🙏 I begged you to improve this so people with no tools and garage can do the installation by ourselves I really want to get this side mirrors on my 1990 with c lock But welding , reinforcing and rotating and more for a simple owner is too much of a pain to do without having troubles If you can improve this to make it easy I'm willing to pay $600 for it or more
You guys should do a lot more of these commonly asked questions videos.
Thank you for the feedback!
Thanks for the video. Just bought these plates and supports. Look well built and dig the sticker!
Thanks for the support and business!

Where can i buy these???
How/ where do you find thoes exterior handles near the door? Can you possibly do a video on how to install ?
No idea, this is a customer truck and the handle were on it when it came to us. I believe they were an add on back in the 90s.
@@obssolutions1466 oh okay, any idea how you might think they were put on? And again thanks for the response.
What does the finished product look like on the inside?
"Negatory ghost rider!" *LOL!*

Hello mi frien I have questions about handle you put on the white ford between doors how can fi do these crome handle
Would it be possible to put wing windows on a modern pickup truck
Is their a kit for a 1986 F-350

Will any brand mirror work with the brackets in the kit?
Where would you run the power wire for the mirror
When welding on the door, if there any paint touch-ups that need to be done (outside of proper slag control) From what I can gather, the mirror trim covers the welds?
Can u guys do a video on switching a truck from manual windows to power windows?
We don't have plans to, but that's something to think about.
Def would like to see a manual to power conversion
What he says it true I got a 93 f150 and if I go over 80 and it’s windy I can hear the roof sound like someone’s walking in it or something hitting the roof
I’ll keep the factory mirrors even tho I can’t see S#!t and constantly have to look out the window because of the insane blind spot
Can I wire the power movement off the electric mirror control on my door
Link to these mirrors?
I have a quick question I have a one piece window in my truck how would you go about stiffing the door ?
Not sure, that's going to be tough.
Hopefully I get an answer from someone. But does anyone know what grab bars those are been looking for those everywhere and can’t find them? Anyone know brand? Part number? Any guidance would be appreciated!
Off-topic. What’s your opinion on skyjacker kits

Where can I find door seals? For obs ford?
I have been looking at the 2020 and newer GMC tow mirrors that attach thru the door. Have you thought of trying to make these fit and OBS?
We've seen them, they are interesting. At this time we don't have plans to use them. But who knows what the future holds 🤔

one question I've always had--are these mirrors power fold in? if that is the case, how do you typically wire this in? and are the mirrors heated?

Will these same brakets work with a dent

@@obssolutions1466 ok thank you if you guys ever make one tag me I will buy one
will they work of 1995 F250
Where can I order these also the side handles ?
How do they clean up the holes from the old mirrors?
I am in the same boat here talked to a body shop today they said they put a plate behind the holes and try to fill it in otherwise bondo
It has to be welded up. Maybe you can use panel bond, but welding is ideal.
What a rig...
