gorgeous baby! Friesians ae one of my favs. I LOVE how Max pulls his lips back and shows his teeth when he is swimming LOL!! too funny I wish I was one of your horses, you have so much love for them. keep the videos coming please!
He is amazing, what a character, He's absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen anything like him enjoying his swimming. I LOVE him. Thank you so much for sharing this!
I'm commenting before reading the other comments, so probably everyone has said this....he's beautiful and I can't believe you've had him almost 2 years and we're just now meeting him. Thank you for keeping in touch, can't wait to see Max develop into a riding and driving horse. He's a lucky horse indeed.
I had an American Shetland stallion named "Dusty" and he loved to swim, we would take him to the beach for a swim with us on hot days, he would wade in just over his back, then lift his back legs up and let his rump float. He would close his eyes and do this silly grin and let out grunts and groans because he was enjoying the water, I'd push his bobbing rump down as far as I could and he still wouldn't put weight on his back legs and I could push it down even more, when I let go his rump would bob to the surface. The funniest thing was after he got out, the beach was smooth pebbled mixed with sand, he would put his muzzle in the sand and drag it around until he felt like rolling. He lived to 33.
What? You own him since 20 months and this is the first time we hear of him? That is outrageous, it is! :p He is a beauty. I hope you will be able to hold a camera on him some time again. And maybe you'll want to consider turning him into a seahorse instead of a driving/riding horse. Just put a sail on his back instead of a saddle! :D
Hes a right water baby isnt he! Also a beauty. Its good to hear that you have another horse that you can go on adventures with. In time will you be sending him to Barry Hook for training or will you do it yourself? You will have to watch that he doesnt wander off by swimming, cant fence the canal(?) lol
I think he will need a GPS tag in the future... I bet Barry Hook would love to train him, but I will try doing it myself first. No doubt that will bring new adventures with a special minded horse like Max....
How did I miss this? What a lovely creature he is and thank you both for the extended footage. A pleasure to watch.
Good to hear from you. He is a treasure.

What a beauty!! I love when he splashes the water with his front legs - just like a little child.

I love Max! You say William is a pensioner. Does that just mean semi retired? Love William!
No more driving for William.
@@hackneysaregreat you man trailering him to events?
Aren't you afraid that he (or the other horses) will wander off? Or rather swim away?
oh my that huge barge went past.
What happened when you had to tell the "Kids" it was time to load up and go home???
he loving the water does he get on well with William
Very well, only William chases him away when he gets his senior feed :-)
He has to know his place.
